This is why your opinion is questioned. You make grand sweeping statements but never offer support aside from we need to watch the news.
And for those who make grand sweeping negative statements that are false your credibility is in question also because you lack the proof of what I share claiming I’m lying or implying I’m lying when instead you just don’t hear it yourselves. So really it’s a pot calling the kettle black.
When someone claims that leaders around the world are praising Trump, it’s completely reasonable to ask, which leaders are doing this? And it’s also reasonable to be skeptical of that claim when there isn’t an answer to this very basic question.
You are certainly allowed to be skeptical. You always are. You hate Trump so you will never accept that other people have a lot of good things to say about him. I mean for Pete sake he elected three times for the presidency and he’s invited all over the world think what you want it doesn’t really matter to me Like I said I don’t sit there with a pin in a hand writing all these people down. I’m not watching it for that reason, but it does tell me what I need to know not what you need to know. You are biased and you will remain that way you never have anything negative to say about the four years of lying we put up with under the Biden administration.

If you don’t watch tv you do miss a lot where you can watch actual conferences, roundtables, news conferences, meetings, and personal interviews. Doesn’t mean you’re ignorant people it means you’re just not seeing all that you can see that might have something to do with why you can paint with a broad brush negatively..

I have watched some other news outlets in the past and they make me cringe at times. Obviously a lot is coming out now about how much was covered up for four years by the Biden administration by Democrats and social media. Why should I watch news outlets that you cannot trust?
It’s futile to argue with people who intentionally limit their information sources but then claim to be “in the know” about certain political opinions

The Trump administration is now threatening to bomb Oman because they forged their own deal to transit ships through the straight.

Not sure what Hegseth has to do with this. Regardless of being elected three times a president can only serve two terms, so would you rather someone else be in office now?

I don't think anyone is expecting an exhaustive list, but if you've watched "many" world leaders providing praise, surely it wouldn't be difficult to recall just one. Trudeau? Thatcher? That one guy from Turkmenistan?

"You guys don't watch TV" is not relevant; TV is so 20th century. All the news and more is on Youtube or the source's web site or other streaming platforms, and any of us could binge watch without having a physical TV appliance. Some of us choose to prioritize other things.

It’s still possible for a President to serve more than two terms under the Constitution. One may be chosen for the office and then fill it, or Vice versa. I’ll leave the particulars as an exercise for the reader.

It does seem pretty low but there is likely room to go even lower.
Not true. I’ve heard the speeches of many world leaders and comments praising the present administration. You have to watch the media outlets that show these.
Thought you were done with this thread?

Well, I'd suggest they (admin) get ready to start hostilities with a lot of other countries... because most, excepting him/US/Israel, are and will be trying to work out/normalize things with Iran, because they (other countries) weren't the rogue actor (USA) in this debacle... nor do they want to be a party to it, so it would be their right and in their national interest to go around the USA at any time to try to facilitate that. (normalize and/or return to some semblance of the pre-USA-foolishly-attacking arrangement).

And furthermore, they (other countries) have the sympathy of most of the world, including myself. I hope they and many more succeed in doing end-run-arounds of US, in order to bring back some stability and maintain negotiation channels with Iran, because this admin had done about everything it can to burn up, renege, bad faith its way into further losing morass...(either on purpose or ineptness or both)

A Confessing Church would acknowledge the inescapable realities of sin and injustice in every human institution, including every political party. It would wholeheartedly reject any suggestion that one party or movement is the party of God. Paul D Miller

It seems like an empty threat to me. For more than one reason such as a serious shortage of the type of missiles that blow stuff up from a long way off. I suspect we are nearing the point where multiple enemies of the US start to ignore him.

I see the US is now bombing oil tanker ships in the straight of Hormuz. A year ago I would have confidently said this would never happen. I really don't recognize the Trump America anymore, it's a foreign country to me.

I think the following gives us some insight into why we've been seeing the things that we have this year.

2011 video blog, Trump stated: “Our president will start a war with Iran because he has absolutely no ability to negotiate. He's weak and he's ineffective. So the only way he figures that he's going to get reelected... is to start a war with Iran.” — [FOX 5 DC].
He reinforced this on Twitter, writing, “In order to get elected, @BarackObama will start a war with Iran.”

As the 2012 election neared, Trump tied the threat of military strikes to political desperation. He tweeted: “Now that Obama's poll numbers are in tailspin -- watch for him to launch a strike in Libya or Iran. He is desperate.” — [FOX 29 Philadelphia]

Even after Obama won re-election, Trump continued to claim he would attack Iran for optics. In September 2013, he posted: “I predict that President Obama will at some point attack Iran in order to save face!” —

A wee little man can’t say, I’m sorry. A big man owns his mistakes and apologizes.
A wee little man trusts himself and his own discernment. A big man is humble enough to know that he needs the counsel and input of others.
