A thread that just allows each poster to share their thoughts without being challenged which seems to me to produce more harm than it does good. Too much ego involved.

I confess I have been a participant in this kind of thing and I wanted to see what it might be like to give our opinions without being directly challenged. Ones view may be an indirect challenge but taking someone's post and picking holes in their posts, imo, smacks of the ego getting into a winner/loser competition using various means of supporting references.

So, I'm putting this explanation here to try to keep the woes thread as clear of this as possible. Even if you totally or somewhat disagree with another's post, just state your own view and let it go with that. Thankyou and all opinions are welcome within this format.
Likely would be easier if the subjects aren't targeted or baited. Some of us can't resist troll food ya know.

This woman's family maintains she never bought his chocolate milk.
This is an important detail, though arguably racist, that it was chocolate milk. Chocolate milk comes directly out of the brown cow without additional processing, whereas white milk requires whitening additives if it comes from a cow that is not purely white (and those are rare).

Great point. The pasteurization process removes the natural chocolate, and "synthetic" chocolate has to be added back in. This is why I choose raw chocolate milk from brown cows.

i have no idea about your word, did you author it?
i agree with you when you sometimes describe how you (to paraphrase) prefer not to rely on internet opinions/advice, this forum is an opinion forum, no one’s certificate or diploma or career is hedging on it ..

my words were intended to be a reminder. that’s pretty much it. i don’t believe there are any members present who are practicing attorneys - actual attorneys are unlikely to weigh in with legal advice - without retainers.

“look! i found it on (biased) google,” is not legal counsel.
That word is a crude word found in rap songs that means “rear end”.
nice.

altho i enjoy loads of music, and a lot of dance (i’m not a musician or dancer) - there are certain forms i avoid, heavy metal, rap, have never appealed to me. (i’m not sure i’m ok to enjoy as much music+dance as i do, i.e., i’m not sure of scriptural boundaries.)

as a woman, i’ve always found Beyonce offensive, even decades ago when Oprah was swooning over her, then later, Michelle O named her as a worthy role model for her young daughters (in the White House). vulgar is vulgar. as decades pass, i’m horrified to see an aging portly woman act out in little to no clothing, skimpy+skin-tight - i try to avoid, evenso, media coverage out paces complete avoidance. i’m aware she continues to be a profitable item.

as an enabling force, spandex may be evil. :-|

i’ve heard about “bad messages,” in rap, esp CRIME, VIOLENCE and sex. now, i understand BLASPHEMY is included.
i mean, i see blasphemy in it, now that i viewed this pastor’s sermon calling out Beyonce on it.

there really is no bottom to their pit, is there?

i viewed this video because i was interested in ANYONE daring to call out “the goddess” Beyonce.
i had no idea it was this bad.

⚠️ Warning: extreme blasphemy. ⚠️
The saving factor is men calling it out as evil. thank you.

Bishop Wooden implores people to shield their young daughters from this. i agree. please!
i wouldn’t recommend Beyonce to anyone, any age. In the least, she is an assault on the senses. For Profit. $$$$

But as you see from the photograph, the milk in a brown cow comes from a pink milk bag. And when a cow gives pink milk, it's not strawberry milk-- that's a sign of mastitis; not sure you want to drink that. :?

The European Union’s executive will withhold almost all of the €22 billion in cohesion funds earmarked for Hungary until the country resolves concerns over the rule of law and the protection of human rights.https://www.yahoo.com/news/eu-freezes-a ... 54731.html
The commission said in a statement that Hungary wasn’t fulfilling the EU’s Charter of Fundamental Rights. In particular, it mentioned a so-called “child-protection law” that bans minors being exposed to any kind of portrayal of homosexuality or sex reassignment, which has drawn criticism for restricting the rights of the LGBTQ community.

Actually the middle part of the route (Carroll Ave. to Gary Metro Center) is not a train these days, it's a bus. In Germany they would call this Schienenersatzverkehr (SEV) rail replacement service. This is disappointing because I sometimes drive to Dune Park and take the South Shore into Chicago, but I refuse to use a bus, especially a bus that's pretending to be a train, unless there's absolutely no alternative.

It IDENTIFIES as a train, so therefore it IS a train. How judgmental of you. You seem to be trainsphobic.
