Attorney Lafuente, of Dallas, Texas, has been representing the farm in an unusual arrangement: Miller doesn’t want Lafuente as his personal attorney, and Lafuente asked U.S. District Judge Edward G. Smith last fall to let him out of the case.
However, in November, the judge said he was keeping Lafuente on as an attorney for the farm because federal rules require that businesses be represented by counsel. Even though he technically isn’t representing Miller, Lafuente still tries to work with him.

When I was a child, I did indeed drink raw milk. We bought our milk from a farmer in our village. My mother normally cooked it before use, but I (finicky as I was) protested that I could not stand the smell of cooked milk - so I got my milk raw.
In those times much more was left to individual judgment and individual responsibility. In our times the state takes "responsibility" for everything - which means, as always, deciding everything himself without regard for individual preferences. I think that there should be a middle way and at the moment the state goes too far.

That word is a crude word found in rap songs that means “rear end”.temporal1 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 28, 2022 2:31 pmi have no idea about your word, did you author it?
i agree with you when you sometimes describe how you (to paraphrase) prefer not to rely on internet opinions/advice, this forum is an opinion forum, no one’s certificate or diploma or career is hedging on it ..
my words were intended to be a reminder. that’s pretty much it. i don’t believe there are any members present who are practicing attorneys - actual attorneys are unlikely to weigh in with legal advice - without retainers.
“look! i found it on (biased) google,” is not legal counsel.

Do you have actual proof of this?Sliceitup wrote: ↑Sun Aug 28, 2022 4:51 pmYes someone died from milk they bought from him.Valerie wrote: ↑Sun Aug 28, 2022 3:41 pm Has anyone EVER become ill by purchasing from him?
Plenty have been harmed by Big Pharma products- and they continue selling same products knowing they harm people- there is a growing movement to not trust FDA, big pharma, hospitals, and of course our government. Amos Miller is doing a good thing made to look like the bad guy by the bad guys

The CDC didn't even mention it until 2 years later. Do you realize how many people get sick every day from food processing issues? The CDC never mentions 99.9% of them, but 2 people 1 person gets sick from raw milk, and it's a "listeriosis outbreak" 2 years later.
I don't think his quote has quite the "shock value" you think it does. Just further proves my point. You agree with the CDC and USDA that Dorito, Coke, and mRNA vaccines are safe and healing, but raw food is dangerous.

Except she never ordered chocolate milk from Miller, and her family stated she didn't drink any dairy products after she moved to Florida, because her stomach cancer was already causing her enough discomfort that was eating mostly toast.Judas Maccabeus wrote: ↑Sun Aug 28, 2022 9:50 pmNot necessarily. Someone cultured Listeria out of a cancer patient. You don’t normally find that in a hospital setting, at least I never heard of it in 40+ years. Think about it, an opportunistic infection in a cancer patient. Enough to push her over the edge? Well someone sent this culture to the CDC, so someone thought it was important enough to do the time and paper work.nett wrote: ↑Sun Aug 28, 2022 6:16 pmApparently you didn't read the whole thread.
One of his customers died of stomach cancer in a hospital. The CDC decided two years later that this counted as a "listeria" outbreak because they found a "genetic similarity" between listeria found in the woman who died of cancer, and listeria they found in his raw chocolate milk. This woman's family maintains she never bought his chocolate milk.
Saying "someone died from the milk they bought from him" is repeating a lie.
I would be content to say, they cultured a bacteria, genetically similar to samples from the dairy, from a patient that died. You never want cancer patients to pick up infections. Whatever Listeria infected her simply should not have been there.
J.M.
If you go look at the CDC data, you will find no listeria outbreaks from drinking raw milk at any point from 1998 to 2014.
In 2007 though, 5 people got seriously sick and 3 ended up dying from listeria in pasteurized milk.
Personally, I'd rather drink raw milk, and have a healthy gut biome that can deal with trace listeria, instead of being a bubble boy who gets sick or dies when exposed to minor pathogens.

No one is saying don't eat raw food or that Miller Farms should be shut down. Only that he should be following the same safety standards as every other small organic farm of which there are tens of thousands around the country.nett wrote: ↑Mon Aug 29, 2022 9:50 amThe CDC didn't even mention it until 2 years later. Szdfan is mocking the farmer for saying raw food is healing. And the CDC is definitely saying not to consume raw dairy.Ken wrote: ↑Mon Aug 29, 2022 10:19 amNo one is saying don't eat raw food or that Miller Farms should be shut down. I'm not that interested in the safety standards that legalize tabacco, Doritos, and Coke. Call me crazy...

The modern day liberal defends a diet of Coke, Doritos, and McDonald’s fries. It really is something to behold.
