I don’t believe every criminal complaint as gospel truth.Bootstrap wrote: ↑Wed Nov 02, 2022 2:14 pmReally, you should read the criminal complaint, which contains testimony from the perpetrator. Here's what happened:Josh wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 1:43 pmThe man, a closeted homosexual, was meeting with another homosexual and the tryst went wrong. It is unclear why there was an altercation.QuietlyListening wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 11:31 am I find it rather sad that on a forum where most of the posters say they are believers - the things being posted about the attack on Nancy Pelosi's husband are political. Whatever happened, and I certainly do not know as I wasn't there, the man is in the hospital and had serious brain trauma. Having had a husband who experience brain trauma less than a year ago and thankfully he did not need surgery- wouldn't it be better if our focus was on praying for the 2 of them and praying that they would have hearts softened from this and be open to hearing about our Lord and the gift of salvation?
I think the perpetrator did that. And I agree with QuietlyListening - our job as Christians is to respond as Christians, not to be loyal footsoldiers in the political wars. Yes, this really is a terrible thing that should not have happened. Let's pray for the victims and recognize this event for what it is.
Particularly the San Francisco DA, which spent the last few years refusing to prosecute crimes like these. Only the rich and powerful are protected.
