1) All private home security alarms+cameras turned off?
2) No “panic button” in the home? (Ability to signal help without speaking.)
3) Whose hammer?
4) How did that particular broken window lead to entry? It wasn’t near the door latch/lock. It wasn’t big enough to crawl through.
5) Were there cuts on DePape’s hands/arms from trying to reach through the broken glass?

David DePape broke in, undetected, barefoot? In underwear, armed with a hammer?

Paul must face Nancy again. i wouldn’t want to be in his proverbial shoes.

I find it rather sad that on a forum where most of the posters say they are believers - the things being posted about the attack on Nancy Pelosi's husband are political. Whatever happened, and I certainly do not know as I wasn't there, the man is in the hospital and had serious brain trauma. Having had a husband who experience brain trauma less than a year ago and thankfully he did not need surgery- wouldn't it be better if our focus was on praying for the 2 of them and praying that they would have hearts softened from this and be open to hearing about our Lord and the gift of salvation?

i would add the same sympathies for Elon Musk and Ye, who are both under massive political, financial, personal attack so fierce as to easily eclipse the Pelosi’s troubles.

Mr Pelosi’s “brain surgery” details are not known. He was released the same day; personally, i doubt there was anything serious,
i presume those involved wanted as much recorded possible - to aid litigation to follow. These people are all about litigation.

Christians are to pray for softening of hearts and conversion!
Also to be vigilant and not readily taken in. (this is not to say 2 wrongs equal 1 right.) serpents and doves.

The man, a closeted homosexual, was meeting with another homosexual and the tryst went wrong. It is unclear why there was an altercation. It is very disappointing that the Democrats decided to make this a political issue.

As far as “hearts softening” I believe that the Archbishop over Nancy Pelosi has already tried to admonish her to follow the faith she claims to believe in, including our Lord and his gift of salvation. Due to her backsliding he told her she can’t receive communion anymore. Instead of choosing to repent, she is rebellious and tries to sneak into other parishes and “eat and drank damnation unto herself”.

Most here have done no such thing. Please be careful in spreading what a few do to the whole.

I'm sorry, Robert, I didn't mean to imply that most had posted that way. I was unclear. Thanks for pointing that out.

Josh:

Yes. Without delay, the first reports out of DC were to roundly blame Republicans for the “attack.” (Come out throwing fists!) -
Much like the Jussie Smollett debacle. Dems are so reliable, i mean, “like clockwork.” They have no fear of being wrong. Throwing the first punch seems to be worth it to them. They don’t fear consequences of being wrong.

In response, i thought Elon Musk’s twitter retort was insanely clever, and impressively restrained:
 WHAT IS TWITTER FOR??!

My guess is, E Musk is super busy right now, without time to deal with a broken twitter, thus, he withdrew his tweet.
 MY GUESS.

a 2 a.m. “elderly well-check?” - i can’t help but recall Jussie Smollett.

“Elon Musk tweet about ‘tiny possibility’ there’s more to Paul Pelosi story - - almost BREAKS Twitter”
https://www.bizpacreview.com/2022/10/30 ... p-1302674/
.. Clinton’s malignant words were met with a response by the new “Chief Twit” who posted a link to a website that suggested that
the 82-year-old Pelosi may have suffered his injuries from a hookup with a homosexual prostitute that went badly awry.

“There is a tiny possibility there might be more to this story than meets the eye,”
Musk wrote along with the link to the story entitled

“The Awful Truth: Paul Pelosi Was Drunk Again, And In a Dispute With a Male Prostitute Early Friday Morning,”
in a master-level trolling of Hillary. .. ..
Speculation. Fair questions, all things considered.
i read a comment somewhere that speculated Elon Musk may be about to save free speech AND comedy.
we’re about to find out.

Another noted Mr Pelosi was not injured until after police were present. That’s possible.

One thing i’m not buyin’ ..
the very wealthy+uber political Pelosis, living in S.F. (without home security?!) doors unlocked, etc.- - not Mayberry U.S.A.

No one is beyond hope of salvation. Some are so depraved it’s hard to imagine they aren’t beyond hope.

🐝 BABYLON BEE / “ Musk Announces Plan To Reduce Twitter Workforce To Only 280 Characters”
https://babylonbee.com/news/musk-announ ... characters
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Following a roller coaster of negotiations and threats of legal action, Elon Musk is now at the final stretch of acquiring Twitter. With this purchase, Musk has announced plans to reduce Twitter's workforce to only 280 characters.

The new owner of the ubiquitous social network announced the cuts down to 280 characters were needed, as a modern public square bloated with too many characters would hamper free speech and muddy free and fair discussions of all types, something he believes to be vitally important to society.

"I had hopes of slashing characters to 140," said Musk while handing out pink slips to a long line of Twitter employees sobbing into their vegan oat sprout teas. "In the end, I felt like 140 would have worked a few years ago, but 280 is what Twitter needs today."

Critics of the move claimed the founder of Tesla and SpaceX went too far by removing all of those extra characters who surely had important roles at Twitter and were in no way wastes of space and time and money. Musk then ruthlessly shut down the criticisms by tweeting a meme of his head on Donald Trump saying "you're fired."

At publishing time, the number of bots still allowed on Twitter remained at a steady 83 gazillion.

Really, you should read the criminal complaint, which contains testimony from the perpetrator. Here's what happened:

I think the perpetrator did that. And I agree with QuietlyListening - our job as Christians is to respond as Christians, not to be loyal footsoldiers in the political wars. Yes, this really is a terrible thing that should not have happened. Let's pray for the victims and recognize this event for what it is.

It’s not illegal to have wild fantasies. It’s not illegal to be mentally deranged. Nancy wasn’t even present.
Even in cases of actual shootings, it’s not murder, or manslaughter - until/unless the victim dies.

If the man is found mentally unfit, he won’t be held accountable - esp not in the lib political free-for-all, San Fran.
Live with your own policies!

From the first report, hyperbolic screams of allegations were thrown out. [Just like Jussie Smollett.]

This incident is deemed a HIGH-VALUE political event. It will be milked for all its worth to the last breath.
Including police and hospital reports. Drink it up!

Think:
Elon Musk’s tweet was clever, and not at all outrageous. A twitter gem. “What is twitter for?”
The response to Elon reflects pumped-up political hysteria.
