Same old game, BS. It does not work anymore. Everyone here is tired of it. Your best course of action is to apologise to the entire forum and change your behaviors. You have been told this before. Will you listen? Or will you continue playing your manipulative game? We shall see.
On a side note. Although I disagree with Bootstrap on many issues, especially in the area of politics, but can we just call him "Bootstrap" and not BS. "BS" just reminds me of the slang term used for the manure that was shoveled out of the bull pen when I was growing up.

Carry on.

Who is avoiding here?

Max, if there is a post in that thread that you think I need to apologize for, could you please provide a link to it here, explaining what you think I need to apologize for?

I have pointed this out to Max in the past. I think it's pretty clear that he does this intentionally. His response here seems to confirm it. Max, would you please stop calling me BS?

And Grace, I appreciate the fact that we can disagree without needing to tear each other down. That's important. If I am attacking people or making false accusations, I really do hope people will point that out, at the time. But vague accusations aren't helpful.

o.my. ^^^ o.well. here goes.
.. The other forums I am on don't allow that,

Could this be an answer? :D
Not in this instance, alone, when members describe the far superior worlds they inhabit elsewhere (even everywhere else) one wonders why significant time is devoted here, in this lesser place?? (These sorts of complaints typically come from frequent posters.)

“To visit or not to visit” .. is free choice. :D

i know of someone who moved into a dicey neighborhood a few years ago. not a religious person. not a missionary.
location was obviously a challenge from the start. no trickery.

she devoted significant time in criticizing neighbors, the neighboring area. she got herself elected president of the HOA. she called police to report suspected illegal activities regularly. maybe daily. she called authorities about neglected properties, abandoned cars, tasteless house paint colors, etc. (i believe her impact was minimal.) i don’t believe she improved anything.

she moved to a place she hated, then proceeded to insist everyone meet her standards. :?
by force, if necessary, if possible.

thankfully, she has now sold her home and has moved to another, less offensive location. (not perfect!) she still finds room to criticize. it’s no longer a full time job. for her sake, i hope she’s able to adjust. to find more constructive use of her time. even if it’s just relaxing, letting others be. i pray for her.

ha. i never noticed.
however, i was led away from using Falco Underhill’s initials.

you may not be aware, boot devoted a fair amount of forum time in attempt to discredit Max; i’m not sure if he’s given up, i try to ignore, esp their squabbles. there is unpleasant history.

i rely on admin+mods to do sleuthing. and moderating. they’re competent.

i decided to comment here (maybe not wise) - because this matter of members describing how marvelous their lives are, off-forum,
puzzles me. on one hand, i’m happy for them, on another, i wonder why they choose to inhabit a place of such frustration??
it is a choice.

If you use the initials for Bootstrap, I think you have B. It's one word.

If someone continues to use BS after being asked not to, I assume that's intentional.

There really isn't another forum for Mennonites trying to figure out how to live out biblical Two Kingdom theology in modern America. Which is why I spend more time here than on other forums. I preach on this kind of thing once a month in a Mennonite church.
