I'm really nervous about giving it to my husband! I am giving him lots of supplements. He is on two transplant medications so I looked up the warnings of interactions for his transplant medications. Interestingly enough, vaccines are on the list of interactions with his transplant medications! Including the covid-19 vaccine!
Did you get the pour on, the injectable, or the oral paste?

I'm sure someone has told you this... but can't you get a script from the doctors in Florida at least? self dosing with a dosing guide for animals isn't very safe.
I don't know I haven't thought of getting a script from Florida, didn't know that was possible.

Seems I can hardly keep ivermectin on the shelves right now-. There are YouTube's that show you how to measure it actually it looks pretty easy to know how much to use because of the notches on the syringe

Yes, for dosing a horse it is fairly straightforward.

one example, birth control pills are prescribed for various complaints.

bc pills are distributed to teens+children like candy.

Is there a reason you don't want to get a (human?) prescription from a doctor? We have no problems getting it legitimately around here.

1. Rx for humans?
2. i live in downstate Illinois (aka, the state of DNC Chicago).
3. i messaged my GP 2 weeks ago, no reply. it’s an efficient msg system with quick replies, 24-48 hrs. not this time.
4. i ordered the human type online, a site promising physician prescriptions and oversight. https://www.pushhealth.com/
5. i’ve received email contact from them, no physician contact. (i presume i’m “in line” for contact.) BUT, Illinois may have measures to intercede, to not allow purchase. I DON’T KNOW.

i’m not recommending the link i added above. i know nothing about them. I HOPE IT’S NOT FRAUD.
i’m not recommending Ivermectin, i can’t, i have no medical background OR experience with it.

i want to have Ivermectin on hand, in the event i contract COVID.
i’ve read enough to believe it’s unlikely to harm me, and, it might relieve symptoms, and/or shorten the illness, hopefully, without hospitalization. i am bothered that i might be hospitalized yet not receive meds that might help, like Ivermectin.

i told my adult daughter, i’m not interested in taking it today, BUT, if i were sick enough, i might be very happy to take it.

i’m interpretting my doctor’s silence as:
1) “i can’t speak on this.” and,
2) because my doctors have NEVER been shy to advise me against bad ideas, i take her silence to mean, “it won’t hurt you.”

Valerie lives in Ohio. :)

Next: My weird Ivermectin journey: :?

After a few days, i received an email saying my RX request was approved, the order was sent to a local national chain pharmacy i requested, they would contact me.

i believe i received a phone call the next morning. It was a local pharmacist.
He told me they are not filling this RX, because it’s not FDA approved for COVID purposes. He was helpful.
He agreed that doctors have leeway to prescribe for off-label use, i told him i believe this is an important privilege for doctors to have. He told me they will transfer the RX to another pharmacy, if i find one willing to fill it.

i told him about my GP’s silence, that this is the first time she’s been silent. That i’m thinking her silence means, IVM won’t hurt me, but she’s not free to discuss it. He agreed IVM will not hurt me. i told him, this is Illinois, i presume pharmacies will not fill this RX. He said he could not say.

i have not called another local pharmacy, i’m looking into HONEYBEE PHARMACY, an online pharmacy listed on the PushHealth Site.
they are located in California. The website appears legitimate to me. (What do i know?!) https://honeybeehealth.com/online-pharmacy

i guess my next step will be to call my local pharmacy, ask if they are familiar with Honeybee, and if they would transfer the RX?

i’m not at ease with all this, yet. not wanting to stumble into fraud, spam, etc.
it looks like the cost of 1 RX will be about $65. i don’t know dosage, number of tablets, recommended treatment, etc.
i presume that will accompany the RX.

thankfully, i’m not attempting to navigate this while sick!
i’m trying to plan ahead+prepare to avoid as many problems possible. hopefully, i’ll have it and never need to use it.

Utterly ridiculous for local pharmacies it to fill it. 20% of Rx’s are off label. Not a single person has died from off label ivermectin use in America.

Temporal1 I think you are wise to prepare ahead. A friend of mine newly moved to BC recently had Covid together with his family and they had to get someone else to courier some Ivermectin from Alberta since they had never prepared for the eventuality. They are all recovered now.

Who knows whether IVM made the difference? They left it a little late and my friend got a little rough at one point though he never had to go in to the hospital. He did begin to improve after he started taking the ivermectin. But “it would have been worse without it” is a fallacy because you can never really know for sure. Of course they say the same thing about the vaccines.

The ivermectin sent to my friend was equine formula of course because you can’t get the human version prescribed in Canada unless you are certifiably suffering from scabies or river blindness. So we common folk must shift for ourselves.

I don’t have a problem with using the horse dosage guidelines for myself because it is identical to the dosage of .2 mg per kilogram of body weight recommended for human anti-parasitic use which happens to be what FLCCC also suggests for Covid prophylactic (post contact) use. Calculating a safe dose is therefore not rocket science, you just have to make sure that IVM is the only active ingredient. I am also more comfortable when the inactive ingredients are listed though not every product does that. You can find that information if it’s available by searching online for the product’s MSDS (material safety data sheet).

* Edited 20 mg to .2 mg as per request by poster

***Correction - and this is an important one***.

The recommended dosage guideline is 0.2, NOT 20 mg per kilogram of body weight! The 20 mg slipped in there because that is the dosage I have personally used since I weigh 100 kg.

Thank you kindly for your help. :D
i’m adding this here BOTH in hope to be corrected if i’m making a mistake of any kind, AND, it may help someone else get through this more efficiently. i’ve never done anything quite like this before.

i live in the country, i’m in a high risk of death from COVID group, we sometimes have bad weather, power outages, supply shortages, etc., so, while i do not hoard, i try to be prepared. i keep a few boxes of tissues, a few gallons of drinking water, some OTC drugs, etc., in the event of being “cut off” for a period. when our family was young, we once were without electrical power for 2 weeks in February. we had mostly natural gas, so got thru ok.

i have been sick enough here that i had no business being out driving, even in good weather. so, i try to think ahead. :)

My husband was tested positive for covid on Sunday. Prior to his testing I believed he had a sinus infection for the first time in several years. Reason being he is allergic to dust and he was cleaning our garage sweeping it's dirty floor and our large garage door was stuck shut so he had no fresh air the whole time he was cleaning.

When I came home and found that out, and found out he had not worn a mask while he was doing this work I was afraid he'd come down with the typical sinus infection he used to get when he would do this so the first few days I thought he had a sinus infection but I thought I better get him tested. Another thing that was happening the same time was extreme neuropathy in his foot that was making him cry out in pain for three solid days. So there was much stress on his body which probably made him more susceptible to covid. He was with me in the entire time that I had covid the end of July early August and didn't catch it. I believe the stress his body was under affected his immune system.

I gave him two doses of ivermectin that the calculation it wasn't hard. I was confused because I heard you take it 5 days in a row but looking online it recommended taking it 2 days and skipping a few days because it stays in your system and you could overdose. But I had heard others had taken it for several days in a row and recovered quickly from covid. However when Neil's oxygen level had dropped according to the oximeter I've been using to 88, I took him to the hospital at 2:30 a.m. Friday. I had knocked myself out doing everything in my power with God's help to prevent him to go to the hospital but with oxygen dropping you just don't take a chance and he had a horrible cough by then which I don't know was due to the sinus infection or covid I did not get a cough at all.

I think it's horrible that doctors will not give early treatments, the ones I contacted that will, are out of the area and time is up the essence.are so overwhelmed, and you need to start as early as possible that by the time I could have got a hold of hydroxychloroquine which has been very successful as long as you combine it with zinc, (there is a protocol) . These products are successful in other countries and in America when you could get a hold of them so I don't understand why are doctors will not I think they are threatened that they will lose their license.

I think it is wise if you could get a hold of some to have it on hand as temp is inquiring about because it's so necessary to start right away.

So Neil is in the hospital, and only God knows the outcome of this- we trust the Lord completely, God has bought me all through worse things before life-threatening, but if he chooses that this is his appointed time we still trust the Lord

I will pray for both of you. And yes, God is trustworthy.

Let's all take this disease seriously, though ...
