None of this gets much attention in the media.
They’d rather scare us about the “Russians”.
Unfortunately, some brainiac-activists in politics decided it’s racist to report FACTS on both crime and disease. It’s no longer “just” media bias affecting poor reporting. Increasingly, it’s illegal to report raw facts.
In my view this is a HAZARD to public health and safety, for nothing more than politically correct theories and experiments.
There are no disclaimers on reported statistics to alert about changes and restrictions made in reporting. There should be.
45 years back, we lived in the beautiful community of Santa Barbara, CA, mid-1970’s.
In the most lovely, quiet neighborhoods, visiting local beaches and parks,
we had everything stolen - “that was not nailed down.”
Faceless thieves everywhere, never seen or caught. At a beach, our car window broken, worthless items stolen. Our car stolen, out of our basement parking garage. Our cottage-converted from a garage, broken into, ransacked, robbed. It was unnerving, mostly in broad daylight. These things happen in a flash. They are planned and deliberate.
Even robberies like that leave you feeling vulnerable and violated.
i worried Sasha may have been taken across the border. No word of that.
it is very likely the person(s) knew her, in the least may have seen her in some kind of everyday action, even if only once. the father of a friend, a sub-contractor working on a property, a customer ..
random attacks happen.
this may not have been the perp’s first attack. by the time kidnapping+murder happen, in the least, there is usually a list of lesser offenses. police have ideas, leads. sometimes correct, not always.
My family lives on the west coast, i’m in Illinois.
These places can no longer be trusted to provide accurate reporting on crime, or disease.
Facts are just not PC. There is no reliable way of knowing what is happening, where, or with whom.
Don’t ask for facts.
If you dare to ask, be prepared to be labelled a racist, homophobe, extremist, etc.; prepare to face tangible penalties in addition to damning social labels. Like loss of employment.
