Apparently yes. So give us a complete list of all of your relatives, down to your 5th cousins. And don't leave out any of the famous or unsavory ones. ;)
I'll give up one of my third cousins, one who 'scored' in both categories, having been both famous, and also wicked (as in repeatedly adulterous): Johnny Deutschendorf, AKA 'John Denver'. (I don't have any other relative who were famous.)

What authors do you recommend?
The Bible I always use and recommend. Any other books I let folks choose for themselves because we’re all adults with different personalities and backgrounds.
Surely you didn't let your students choose their own reading, did you? What literature did you assign?
I've been meaning to come back and connect these two posts for a while.

Those archives are very interesting.

69? I noticed you mention academia did you have a field of study or what you taught?
Taught history and lit to high schoolers. Then became a college registrar. Then came to my senses and retired.
How about you?

Wow Neto
Rather amusingly, he’s also 6th cousins to my father in law. Admittedly it is difficult to find any Russian Mennonites farther apart than 7th cousins (my father in law is 7th to Neto, for example).

I just find it interesting that someone can teach history and literature for 20 years, or teach science in college, and later in life join a discussion forum and have no interest in discussing history, literature, or science. And not catch my bad puns that attribute literary works to the wrong author. I guess interests and personalities expand and morph over time, perhaps exacerbated by geriatric memory loss. At least that's the generous explanation.

I'm still trying to comprehend this post, if you care to explain. Is there a way for users to see IP info, or am I missing something obvious?

Did you see this question?
Nope never saw that question. Nope I’m not this MaxPc person. Like I said before y’all say the weirdest things. I don’t know what all is the background and I don’t really want to know. I’m just getting input from y’all on topics I’m seeing pop up in social media.
This very post contains evidence to establish a connection.

There are ways to extract this information. To understand how, consider what happens when a reader of this forum listens to the music.

I've seen old MaxPC posts and recent JohnL posts, they type and act so differently it has to be different people. Maybe it's the same person but they are putting on such a convincing act it might as well be a different person

Wife: A few of the jokes are actually the exact same ones. That said, he has a lot of things of value to share and starts interesting topics at times. It’s a bit distracting because of the deception, although I don’t know that it’s for nefarious purposes.

I’m about 70% sure that Max PC and John L are the same person. I have no idea what the purpose would be of all the fiction, but I agree with you that it seems kind of harmless other than the fact that it makes anything they have written pretty much non-serious. Why someone would waste their time like this, I have no idea.

Wife: yeah I can’t say with 100% certainty. Just that they seem very similar and have similar posting interests and behaviors. I miss the pearl comics though.
