Cheering+funding felony crime.

Things that are not part of politics happening presently and how we approach or address it as Anabaptists.

Call me naive, the literal fan clubs and cheering still going on for mangione and now others, gave me a jolt.
This is depravity, well beyond the realm of legal defense.

i have regularly posted about the importance of due process, not in question.

Charlie Kirk’s assassination is added to the list.
President T’s attempted assassinations - and fantasies of his assassination, are added.

Reveling in death. i’m not accustomed to this.

If you see the depravity only on one side, and consider it important enough to go campaign on social media, that says something. At that point, it has become an important part of our identities.

I think I see a lot of that. And seriously, why all the outrage if the courts don't do what the politicians want them to do? Should a president be able to command the DOJ to go after his political opponents? Do we trust a president's former criminal defense lawyer to be impartial?

We should all be outraged by that. But not only on one side.

The Bible has a lot to say about justice. And about our role with respect to government. I think we should be guided by that.

1. Are we discussing the topic? Good.
2. Are we going around and around in a fight? Let's stop doing that.
3. Is there some serious wrongdoing or relational injury? Let's address that, probably not in public and certainly not for show.

Where have i ever-ever suggested “one side”? :? :?

i’m super glad the SPLC is being called out.
i suspect they’ve played a major role in all these divisions - at scale and for profit.

Where have you been upset when someone convicted of a felony is pardoned, together with financial deals that sure look like someone is making money in exchange for the pardon? Do any of the presidential pardons bother you?

I think the examples you choose are consistently one sided. Social media manipulates us emotionally, and apparently, MN is a place to promote whatever they are saying.

At some point, if we don't like corruption or bribery or whatever, we have to define those terms, and ask how we can tell if those things are happening. Ditto for political weaponization of the DOJ. Otherwise, we're just sitting around calling each other emotional names, without ever getting an understanding of basic terms like justice.

Terms that the Bible mentions quite a bit.

i don’t recall speaking to pardons of any description, in my view, presidential pardons are another topic.
i presume i’d have mixed feelings based on each case, NOT party.

This topic began with my shock that anyone would cheer murder. Even alleged murder, with public wishes of actual murder.

NY POST / mangione fanatics

Anyone is welcome to add whatever examples of cheering felony crime they wish.
Not partisan, the sin of murder isn’t partisan.

This report is added info.
I see. Is your theory that the fundraising for his defense is a mockery of a felony crime?
i’d like to think that thinking is beneath you.
I'm trying to understand why you are posting about it in a thread about cheering crime.

The Karmelo cheering had been covered in this topic.
i noticed the conviction, wanted to add it to the prior discussion.
Yet to be sentenced.

To repeat, these incidents are tragic, with no winners.

Not that i presume judgment is the end.
i’m wondering if the SPLC case will have an affect on response? i expect we’re about to find out.

For what it’s worth, I think the Anthony trial was not conducted particularly well and in particular the defence counsel seemed to be just phoning it in.

i listened to 3 random conservative black opinion-responses to this case.
i’ve shared a couple of their tapes before. for me, like listening to neighbors talk about things.

Amala Ekpunobi / 9min

Millionaire Morning Show / 10:42-36:23

Amir Odom / -22min

i believe one noted Karmelo will be eligible for parole half-through his 35 year sentence. In his 30’s?
Being in prison could be a safer place for him than on the streets.
If he chooses to repent and learn, he could look forward to a good life following. i pray his family stays by him and encourages him every step of the way. He is in need of prayers.
