Is the Anthony guy real or is he a bot? One would think a human would know better than to make up things that are so easily disproven.JohnH wrote: ↑Wed Jun 03, 2026 9:19 amYou have incorrectly described Grace's conduct and position on this forum, then.Anthony wrote: ↑Wed Jun 03, 2026 8:43 am Before i posted that I havent looked at Grace’s posts much, I went to her account and the most active subforum she is on is Politics… i skimmed about the last 5 pages of her posts in politics and its all bashing democrats and talking about the good Trump has done…
This shame of accepting a political label is a mystery to me
I think it's important we speak truthfully about other people on this forum instead of just making stuff up.

Wife: He seems like a human, and it seems like it’s not actually an unusual behavior for humans. That said, I can’t actually verify his claim one way or another, because we are not on the politics forum, so the search engine wouldn’t show any of Grace’s posts on that forum.ken_sylvania wrote: ↑Wed Jun 03, 2026 12:10 pmIs the Anthony guy real or is he a bot? I do think that we need to remember that we will give an account for every idle word spoken, and somehow I think text counts as well, so all parties involved should try to allow that to guide their conduct in this debate.

Re: Demands to Denounce
There is a degree of difference between denouncing a person and denouncing their actions, of course. But as a way of shutting down or deflecting discussion, they are very similar. When someone calls into question the actions of a political figure and the predictable response is "but did you denounce the other party when they did something or other years ago?" it's just a descent into the morass of political squabbling. There are better ways of engaging the subject.JohnH wrote: ↑Wed Jun 03, 2026 8:26 amI haven't asked someone to denounce the Obama adminsitration.

When it's about a particular action or policy, it seems quite appropriate to ask if their opposition is to that action or policy or merely opposition to the person doing it.ohio jones wrote: ↑Wed Jun 03, 2026 1:42 pm There is a degree of difference between denouncing a person and denouncing their actions, of course. It depends on whether or not you're in the politics group. I saw what ken saw, but when I momentarily opted in to politics I saw what Silentreader saw.ken_sylvania wrote: ↑Wed Jun 03, 2026 1:31 pmViewing profile - GraceSilentreader wrote: ↑Wed Jun 03, 2026 1:27 pm Viewing profile - Grace

Can we trust what the folks in the Politics group are seeing? Or is it just politics?PeterG wrote: ↑Wed Jun 03, 2026 2:26 pmIt depends on whether or not you're in the politics group.
