My dash eventually said 0 miles to empty, when I came upon a remote Chevron station in the mountains. Nothing else around. Paid $6.40 per gallon. Total cost to fill up was $210.00. Credit card shut off at $175 and I had to run the card again to fill the rest of the way.
One of my drivers had a fuel card decline today for the first time due to the fact that the tanks were emptier than usual and the fuel more expensive than usual. Had to raise the max transaction amount on his account. Although diesel has dropped to 5.89 from the high of 5.99. You talking the price of gas or diesel?
Gasoline. Oregon adds $0.40 per gallon state tax. And it was premium.

Diesel fuel is around $4.85… although if you want to pay more than that, you can.
Our diesel is around $6.20 per gallon at our Love’s, last I checked.

The increase of diesel means everything will go up in price. Much of America's food and other products are delivered by trucks, trains, etc., all run by diesel.

The West Coast’s high fuel prices are mostly by choice; they keep closing refineries, refuse to open new ones, try to block building pipelines, and have stated goals to eventually ban non electrical cars and trucks.

Truth. Otherwise there’s reason in the world, on the same day. My mom paid almost $3 a gallon more for gas than I did!!
That’s crazy.

They just came out with the first quarter economic view and it was very good news!
We will see what the next quarter reveals.

As a cashier 5 days a week I watch close. People are still buying so much junk food, pop, expensive alcohol, and ALL kinds of unnecessary items (I.e. yard decor) that if they felt they needed to right their belts it sure isn’t showing yet.

New personal high today. I’m on San Juan island, Puget Sound, Washington. Rental a car on the island, had to refill it with premium at $6.48 per gallon. Fortunately only put it 2.5 gallons though.

Mendocino, CA is $9.99 for premium or diesel ($9.79 for regular).

They would set it higher but rumour has it they can’t get their pumps above $10.

It might be the mercy of God lest Americans get drunk on their own power and wealth. This might be a mechanism God is using to apply a little pain to prevent further war lust.
