Generally you don’t criticize the commander regardless of political views or beliefs.
The few who do generally get fired regardless of president.
That being said, criticism from military officers over this has happened so it ultimately comes down to which talking head you choose to listen to.
Myself, I look at the military assets they move into place, the main tactical uses and pretty much ignore what the talking heads claim.
Oil Prices, Oil Flows, and the War with Iran

No, not sitting ducks. Harmless doves. Under the protection and mighty hand of God.

I hate to tell you but Christians get killed in Iran frequently.
Anyways a Commander in Chief will not look at guarding his country the same as an Anabaptist.

Bessent days US will not extend pause on oil sanctions. A few days later, the US extends the pause another 30 days.

A wee little man can’t say, I’m sorry. A big man owns his mistakes and apologizes.
A wee little man trusts himself and his own discernment. A big man is humble enough to know that he needs the counsel and input of others.

Desperately trying to keep gas prices down leading up to the midterms, but also desperately wanting to be the big global bully on the block... a hard line to walk straight... when your drunk on power and war...Ernie wrote: ↑Mon Apr 20, 2026 9:53 pm Bessent days US will not extend pause on oil sanctions. Today I had the most costly fill up ever, both in terms of per gallon, and total cost. I was crossing the mountains and forgot to fill up in town. My dash eventually said 0 miles to empty, when I came upon a remote Chevron station in the mountains. Nothing else around. Paid $6.40 per gallon. Total cost to fill up was $210.00. Credit card shut off at $175 and I had to run the card again to fill the rest of the way.

One of my drivers had a fuel card decline today for the first time due to the fact that the tanks were emptier than usual and the fuel more expensive than usual. Had to raise the max transaction amount on his account. Although diesel has dropped to 5.89 from the high of 5.99. You talking the price of gas or diesel?R7ehr wrote: ↑Wed Apr 22, 2026 8:40 pm Today I had the most costly fill up ever, both in terms of per gallon, and total cost. Yeah... that other campaign promise about lowering prices and inflation... long forgotten or ignored amongst all the other broken ones... interesting how the believers of said promises suddenly don't seem to care about them anymore... but continue to believe and try to sell the new promises...R7ehr wrote: ↑Wed Apr 22, 2026 8:40 pm Today I had the most costly fill up ever, both in terms of per gallon, and total cost. Filled up for $3.39 today at Love’s
Diesel fuel is around $4.85… although if you want to pay more than that, you can.
