Not sure who "Holderman" is, but my brother in law once proposed starting a dating website called "Hold-a-man" for age 25+ singles for whom neither the teacher plan nor the Saturday volleyball game plan is working.

Wife: He’s the man who holds everybody’s jackets during the volleyball games

I'm afraid it's worse than that. The cars that come to the local car shows weren't even on the drawing board yet. Even I actually like the design of some cars that came around 10 years after I graduated HS. (Like my favorite minivan, the 93 Chrysler Town & Country.)

Very true!
I like mini-vans. I used mine to haul our children and as a kind of a pick-up truck. Soil and plants for my wife and big old bags of wood chips for smoking. Taking bicycles or lawn mowers to the repair shops. Do they even make mini-vans like that anymore?

I still have one, a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan with the 4.0 L V6, and the full tow package. (It just lacked the class III hitch, which I installed myself, an OEM one.) I use it to tow a 4x8 open box aluminum trailer. Recently hauled a whole load of cabinetry, with both the trailer and the minivan stuffed full. The minivan has the Stow-N-Go seating, so I have all of the seats down, and it can haul 4x8 sheets of plywood or drywall (sheetrock where I came from), and still close the hatch lid. We also have a 4th Gen Ram 1500, and the box on it is not even that long.
