What does elizabeth smart have to do w beth moore?
sorry to confuse.
i wanted to make a point about my wrongful judgment of elizabeth’s father. once elizabeth returned home, it was clear her father wasn’t involved.

it’s really easy to jump to negative conclusions. it’s hard to resist the temptation.
Is jumping to negative conclusions part of the Hegelian dialectic? :?

In their absence, let's let that thread rust in peace.

I was imagining some kind of Beth Moore vs Elizabeth Smart kind of dialectic with a resultant synthesis of a “true crime” TV show narrated televangelist style.

Okay so reality is that there are reasons a husband and wife hit each other.
The issue is the why.
Any hitting spouses necessitate separation. That is the point. I am not interested in discussing what "said reasons" are.
How about if one is hitting on the other instead of just hitting. Is that allowed?

John has a theory.
And there is evidence to support that theory.

This takes me back to MD.
someone(s) would ask about lurkers, it was all new to me. if i recall, mods responded about the same as oj here.

i remember Country Boy posting early, as he was starting his work days, starting coffe, calling out lurkers!
He challenged them to join in and post. There were lots of read-only folks back then. i met a couple IRL. :)

Recently, i’ve wondered if Sudsy registered with a new username? probably not, tho.

i’d like george to be present. and lots of others, of course.
