Things that are not part of politics happening presently and how we approach or address it as Anabaptists.

Explain what plans those would be.
Line up carriers like Atlas air, and don’t give the purpose of the flights. They do military charters all the time. Those 747 high density planes have like 500 seats. Only fly as far as Ankara or Delhi. Turn around for another run. BTW the state department used to charge full fare for flights. American Express preferred. My data is about 30 yrs old, but I doubt it changed
IST would be much better than ESB for onward connections, or just the capacity of the airport for that matter, and only slightly farther. Atlas Air has at most three 500+ seat 747s, but there may be other similar charter carriers.
Or just contract with Turkish Airlines to operate the flights.

This memory resurfaced and I searched it up. It's still relevant nearly 20 years later. The I-ran has finally come out.

I think the US could have the big cargo planes ready to go at various places without giving away the date.
How do you contact the Americans? How do you get them to the airport?

Logistics are harder than you think.

Let me give you an example of the level of penetration that US enemy has.

In Cuba, Gitmo, Americans have people (at least when I was there 2013) who were behind the highest security prison America has anywhere. They still managed to smuggle communication and actual items in to their own cells.

You disseminate information through the warden network. Any citizen who has registered knows at least one of these prominent members of the community. The embassy contacts the warden network on foot if it has to. This is known and occasionally rehearsed. My warden was one of the doctors at our hospital.

Ground transportation in the gulf is still up and running, as of yesterday.

Correct. But Atlas is the one I am most familiar with.

Well I was unaware. They certainly had plenty of time to have done something which leads me to believe they were worried about security risk or just didn’t care.

Yep, and there are lots of buses running to Egypt. Lots of good flights from there.

Actually, to Egypt, one has to get a ferry. You will never get even a transit visa for Israel, unless, of course, you are American.

In any case, from one who has traveled from Abu Dhabi to Jordan, it is no picnic. Particularly since it is Ramadan.

The last time I was in Eilat a number of women I worked with took a day trip to Egypt. One Arab Israeli citizen, the rest Jewish Israeli citizens. Apparently they have great shopping there and a nicer beach.

Yes, the Egyptian beaches are supposed to be much better. But presumably, these were all Israeli citizens and could get into Israel on demand. Most can't. The traditional route for buses is to Jordan's port (Aqaba) and ferry to Egypt. Some of the ferry boats are a bit "suspect."
