Here's a very obvious false accusation. Drudge's headline right now is "Ice Detains 5-year Old" and this accusation is being widely reported in the media and by politicians. But the DHS and ICE are saying the child was abandoned by an illegal alien and that they held the child until the parent was apprehended. Democrats are overplaying their hand when they make false accusations like this, support crowds of activists entering churches and disrupting services, and such things.

At this point who do you believe? ICE says one thing and news reports say they talked with teachers who confirm the child was with his father.
I don’t know, but here’s some Democrat acknowledging the ICE child arrest story was misinformation. Doesn’t matter at this point, the narrative has been set. It’s too late.

Giving birth on U.S. soil (except for diplomats) is an automatic grant of citizenship according to the US Constitution. Does not being a citizen grant one permanent residency?
Giving birth in U.S. soil does not grant citizenship, legal status, or anything else.

The truth gets lost in the noise, and it doesn’t even matter because each political side has already made their mind up and just repeats things that affirm the biases they already have.

For example: ICE did something I consider quite not good last Sunday (confirmed by the federal government themselves). Yet I noticed it hasn’t been brought up here, but these other sensational yet misleading or false stories have made it to MennoNet.

Of course most births are not in or on soil, but...

It does at the moment, since there's an injunction against the Executive Order interpreting the 14th Amendment otherwise. That's on the Supreme Court's docket.

Speaking of deportation and returning.
Rosie O’Donnell and Ellen Degeneris self deported to Ireland and England in protest of the winner of the election. After just a little more than a year both came back to the US. The taxes and the weather didn't suit them they said.
I wonder if there’s a name for that?
Rebound citizenship?
Retread immigration?
Hindsight regrets?

It doesn’t grant it to the person who gives birth.

Actually, Rosie still lives in Ireland and Ellen presently lives in the Cotswolds. Neither have returned to the US.

They both are a bad influence in their gay lifestyles - on national tv- there were many Hollywood people that threatened to leave if Trump won that I honestly felt we don’t need their influence. President Trump got the complete hatred of LGBTQ which he does not endorse as well as hatred from pro- abortion folks. I see their loud protests in our town & yelling at cars going by. Why do anti-Trump people act so violently? The spirit guiding them is troubling.
