Honestly it's the fact that you even remembered

Being grateful in all circumstances is the best way to be. i believe it’s Jesus’ message.

P.2: Is Jesus for “Law & Order?”

Some topics are so personally titallating (hobby horses) any suggestion tempts (bunny trails, really).

For discussion, the logical thing is to ask for explanation of word use. Continue from there, after attempting common understanding.

This happens on the internet often, “talking past one another”.
It’s common to get caught up in the message one WANTS to convey, rather than responding to (even quoted words).

It tends to be confusing when participants aren’t discussing the same thing.

- - - - - - -

Two things can be true at once.

One of my fav examples is my appreciation of patriarchies, i believe designed by God.
In the west, the word is nearly taboo today. It shouldn’t be. Confusion/exploitation are works of darkness.
Confusion should be resisted.

Present thinking confuses abuse with patriarchies! So wrong. :-|

God designed patriarchies - NOT ABUSE.

Abuse and exploitation are sin, often crimes in courts of human law. Not of God, Jesus Christ, the holy spirit.

^^When i was young, teens+young, i fantasized “what if” all of humanity were be of one race, one culture, one religion.
There was so much harsh strife all around me in those years. Accomplished without the internet! “If only”.. i dreamed.

Eventually, i realized. Nope. That wouldn’t fix anything. :-|
How disappointing to my young hopeful brain.

Real evidence on every continent reflects, people reliably FIND THINGS TO PICK AT with each other.
The first slaves were of people enslaving their close neighbors - who looked just like them - occuring on every continent.

THOMAS SOWELL writes about how technology (sea worthy cargo ships) eventually allowed enslavement of differing races.
That’s not where it started. i believe he’s correct. He’s an economist who digs deeper into things.

In 2013, LEGO quietly made a change that saved children’s lives.

They added barium sulfate to every brick. A heavy white mineral used in medical imaging. Parents barely noticed. But doctors? They knew exactly what it meant.

Before this, when kids swallowed LEGO pieces, X-rays couldn’t detect them. Plastic is invisible to radiology. Doctors had to operate blind. Guessing where the piece was lodged. Sometimes in the airway. Sometimes deeper.

So LEGO engineers worked with pediatricians and physicists. Searching for a material dense enough to show up on scans, but still safe for play. The answer? Barium sulfate. Suddenly, the invisible became visible.

It wasn’t just science. It was humility. A company known for perfection admitting: “We need to see our mistakes.” That’s rare. Because in most systems — business, politics, even families — people would rather stay blind than be exposed.
LEGO broke that rule. And in doing so, literally saved lives. Since then, pediatric hospitals report faster surgeries and lower complication rates. Radiologists can now identify swallowed bricks in seconds.

A simple, silent innovation that no one celebrated on Instagram — because it wasn’t flashy. It was responsible. In a world obsessed with profit, they chose visibility over denial.

Wife: that’s super nifty. Now, if only they could come up with a solution for stepping on Legos barefoot in the middle of the night.

Legos with photoresponsive polymers with azobenzene so they soften in the dark and harden in the light.

Barium absorbs X-rays well. The manufacturers of Lego attempted to make use of this property, adding it to plastic for bricks. If a child accidentally swallowed a piece of Lego, it could easily be found in the digestive tract on an X-ray scan. Unfortunately, the plastic lost durability, and industrial barium sulfate was not sufficiently pure and was toxic, so the idea was dropped.

I wasn't sure where to ask this question, so I decided under "Bunny Trails". What happened to Ken? We haven't heard from him for a while. Did he get banned?
