Washington DC Grand Jury refuses to indict sandwich for striking a federal officer in the chest.
Actually, some sources say it was a salami sandwich. Perhaps they would have been willing to indict if it had been a true ham sandwich.

The White House had previously released a video of arresting this guy with a SWAT team in the middle of the night, even though he had already said he was going to turn himself in. Must have been quite the sandwich.ken_sylvania wrote: ↑Wed Aug 27, 2025 8:03 pm Washington DC Grand Jury refuses to indict sandwich for striking a federal officer in the chest.

If you watched the video of him throwing the sandwich it was utterly ridiculous. What’s wrong with people, there’s a special kind of stupid in our country. It WAS a dumb thing to do. Arresting him in the middle of the night with a SWAT team was also dumb. It was also performative.Valerie wrote: ↑Wed Aug 27, 2025 9:30 pmIf you watched the video of him throwing the sandwich it was utterly ridiculous. Perhaps the residents of Washington, DC don't want to live in a police state and sometimes resistance shows up in dumb ways.

I don't know...it was from Subway. I don't think anything from Subway is particularly sharp -- cheese wise or taste wise.Robert wrote: ↑Wed Aug 27, 2025 10:12 pmIt could have been sharp cheese.Szdfan wrote: ↑Wed Aug 27, 2025 9:21 pmThe White House had previously released a video of arresting this guy with a SWAT team in the middle of the night, even though he had already said he was going to turn himself in. I'm a little surprised he wasn't convinced of something.

Well...he was convinced at the moment that throwing a sandwich at ICE was a good idea.

Ok, I need to review more before posting.
Maybe the administration could just put him on a jet to somewhere else, apparently they can do that without those uncooperative courts.
