Naw. I think I’ll stay partly just to keep annoying people like you.
Is this okay with moderators that JM keeps suggesting Catholics aren’t welcome on this forum?
Also, the comment is quite off topic. How about instead of just inserting gratuitous anti-Catholic bigotry into threads perhaps JM should consider starting his own threads?
The persecution of Anabaptists is also another potential topic to start a new thread if he so wishes.
You want “respect” for the institution of the Church of Rome? You likely will not find it from me i will not kowtow to the antichrist Church of Rome.
Btw, not all Mennonites share your bigotry here, despite the impression you’re trying to give. I’ve been on this forum for years, haven’t met with your level hatred yet. Are you out to turn the rest of them into bigots?

The earliest confession doesn’t like Catholics. Or Protestants either. This excludes all infant baptism, the highest and chief abomination of the Pope.

There’s much I appreciate about Mennonites, and I’ve learned quite a bit from them, too. That’s why I’m here. I’ve also learned that not all Mennonites are equal, and sometimes the impression we “English” get from documentaries can be misleading.temporal1 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2023 3:21 pmi’m about half-thru, can’t finish immediately.Falco Knotwise wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2023 2:39 pmNear the end of the video she explains if this thing passes it also gives EU controlling interest in all future UN votes since part of the agreement says all 79 countries have to vote with the EU in the UN!temporal1 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2023 1:51 pm Bullying is the operative word.

Yet, crickets from the MSM!
i think your posts today are among the most significant on this forum. It’s “need to know” that msm is deliberately ignoring.
As former forum member, Mr Jim, pointed out one day, “If the Catholic Church falls,” .. all will be damaged.
The RCC is THE BIG TARGET. And, there is evil within, as is witnessed in all human constructs.![]()
i really never thought about it that way, until i read it from Mr Jim.
i’ve learned so much on MD/MN.

You expect respect for the Church of Rome? I might consider it when the institution is repentant of all that it has done to us and others, and seeks to make right its sins against us. The first step would to give us back the documents that were stolen from us, that almost certainly reside in the Vatican library.Falco Knotwise wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2023 3:08 pmI have a suggestion where you can stick your antiCatholic bigotry and your “respect” . . .Judas Maccabeus wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2023 2:58 pmI am suggesting that if you want accurate information on the “Church of Rome” this is not tha place to get it. Until that happens, I feel free to consider the Church of Rome an unrepentant sinner. Not to mention what the institution did to several of my friends, it is all covered in the Maryland Attorney General's report. So what does the Church of Rome do? Declares bankruptcy so it does NOT have to pay the legal claims it certainly owes.
You want respect? The institution has none.

With good reason. The RCC held an entire continent in darkness for a thousand years. Some of the reformed and Lutherans were only marginally better.

Re: Baptism in the Catholic Church
I am so appreciative of Jesus’ words to protect us from our own self-destructive bitterness.
Matthew 5:43-48
43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? 48 You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
Matthew 6:14-15
For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

I think you have a hateful victim complex that justifies permanent hatred within your soul and you’re in desperate need of help. Along with a messiah complex (You’re a “Judas Maccabaeus” freedom fighter, really?)
I got news for ya big shot Judas . . . God doesn’t need your help to defeat anybody.

Re: Baptism in the Catholic Church
Try sharing Anabaptist doctrines on a Catholic forum. See how far that would go. Most people here are very tolerant of Catholic heresy but we believe it to be heresy without apology.
Catholic heresy is far from the only heresy promoted here though and generally we don’t have Catholic doctrine shoved into multiple Anabaptist conversations. Orthodox doctrines, Pentecostal doctrines and on.
