I don’t think everything is distilled into hate of Christianity. LGBT dislike any religious groups that don’t accept them. Some Christians would be very happy if homosexuality returned to being a crime.
It would certainly reduce the spread of STDs. A sizable portion of these are from the LGBTQ community.
Shush! You're not allowed to say that!
Why. I spent 40 years in healthcare, and am married to a retired public health nurse that ran those clinics.
Why are Christian businesses targeted?
1. There so many of them. When a godless person encounters resistance for their godlessness, mathematics dictates it will be a Christian. There are observant Muslims and Jews or secular minded people with traditional values but on average the resistance will come from a Christian or someone claiming the name of Jesus falsely.
2. There is also a large group claiming Christ who's deepest commitment is to the self, not to Christ. This group will actively fight back by trying hold on to power and influence in society and try to marginalize people with differing worldviews. This antagonizes the godless and adds fuel to the fires of resentment.
3. When those with little interest in godliness are looking for targets to push back against those who wish to marginalize them, they often do not distinguish between cultural warriors out to maintain control and believers who wish to honor Jesus but are not grasping for power and control.

In the case of the CO baker, the cultural warriors are the pro-homosexuals.

And what examples do you have of these godless people targeting Christian businesses? We have one case in Oregon from 2012. And the Colorado wedding cake baker that Max keeps bringing up despite those events in question happening in 2013 and 2017. We have the Lorie Smith case that made it all the way to the Supreme Court that was completely invented. She wasn't an actual wedding web site designer then, she still isn't one now, and no one targeted her for her beliefs in any way. What other examples are there of Christian businesses being targeted because they are Christian?
What we do have today, in late fall 2023, is an extraordinary amount of targeting of both Jewish and Muslim businesses and Jewish and Muslim people around the country.
Here's an actual example of a business being targeted by a mob. Today actually. Because of the religious beliefs of the owners. Let me know when something similar happens to Christians.

That particular group doesn't just target business, but employers as well. To top that off, everyone is inchin' to hit record and make issue with the most innocent comment or remark.
Something similar happened at my workplace some time back. Never really heard how it ended.

Could you explain to us why Masterpiece Cakeshop has been targeted multiple times? (Not to mention a literal pizza delivery place in Indiana - as if gay people seriously would cater a wedding with pizzas.)
Multiple times? There is one case from 2012 and another case from 2017. Those are the only cases I can find. Do you have anything from this decade?
There are literally thousands of bakeries across the country. If Christian bakers are actually being persecuted for their faith you would think that you could find a case from this decade, no?
And not have to make up cases out of thin air such as was the case with Lorie Smith.
There’s a currently active case relating to a “transgender themed” cake request. I found it in 15 seconds with a lazy Google search.
