I do not think I need to reply. My comment was pretty clear, as Josh was able to comprehend my point.
Soloist seems to fall into the camp of complete confidence in his understanding of God, Christianity, and non resistance, so who am I to bust his bubble?

As I get older, I personally strive to focus on things I can influence and avoid heated debate over opinions.

Josh set a good example for,all of us. Not sure what someone meant…..how about assuming the best rather than the worst? :D

In what I understand, I am confident. I trust God is what He says and what He commands.
I have no confidence in “Christianity”
I served in the Navy, perhaps my experience lends to my solidity on nonresistance.
There is much I do not understand, I make no claim to have it all figured out and periodically I find something I believed that is wrong and my beliefs change.
I find that there is many things we have that I think don’t overly matter, things people decided the Scripture teaches but isn’t clear and many things that I think are clear that many think don’t matter and isn’t clear. I will follow what I believe is true and unless someone shows me in Scripture where I am wrong (which has happened) I will continue to believe what I know to be true.
Ultimately, there is only a bubble in your perception of me. Perhaps you can pop it.

John Anderson / Israel & Palestine | The Politics of War | Victor Davis Hanson / 1hr 10min
Description:
John is joined by military historian Victor Davis Hanson to discuss the escalating conflict in the Middle East.
This conversation was recorded on Wednesday the 18th of October.

Hanson argues that Israel is in a unique position to retaliate unencumbered by American opposition, due to the bi-partisan support it currently has in the US. However, he contends that conflicts like this, and others such as the war in Ukraine, would probably not have transpired had President Trump still been at the helm.

Victor Davis Hanson is an American classicist, military historian, columnist, and farmer.
He has been a commentator on contemporary politics for the National Review and The Washington Times and is currently the Martin and Illie Anderson Senior Fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution.

In addition to writing hundreds of articles, book reviews and newspaper editorials, Hanson is also the author of twenty-four books and hosts a regular podcast series, 'The Victor Davis Hanson Show'. Hanson was awarded the National Humanities Medal in 2007 by President George W. Bush, and was a presidential appointee in 2007-08 on the American Battle Monuments Commission. His latest book, The Dying Citizen, was published in October 2021.

Ah, yes, Victor Davis Hansen, whose answer to any problem is always “more war”.

Guys like this are never held accountable for their absolutely disastrous advice with the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. After that, I don’t see why th EU have any credibility to ever be listened to again.

It’s amazing to watch conservatives get the latest Fox News approved talking points downloaded into their brains and then posted on their social media feeds.

As some of those being killed are unborn children, this is a form of abortion. Somehow many of those who are against abortion under any circumstances make an exception for war. Sad.

Abortion and war are both evil.

In the U.S., it’s generally judged as murder or manslaughter to kill the unborn, UNLESS It’s done by premeditated, gov protected, gov funded for-profit abortion corporations, which, of course, makes it “health care.”

Examples:
Voluntary Manslaughter of Unborn Child
https://www.georgiacriminallawyer.com/v ... born-child

“ "This was a chilling murder of a young woman and her unborn child," Montgomery County DA Kevin Steele said at the time.”
https://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/news/lo ... n/3644923/

Columbus man found guilty of murder in death of unborn child in Linden shooting
Christopher Payne was found guilty on multiple counts, including murder and involuntary manslaughter.
https://www.10tv.com/article/news/crime ... 396daecd75

^^There are many+various cases.
Evidently, the for-profit abortion industry is extremely territorial about its activities+profits. No DIY allowed.
Of course, Abortion pills are part of the abortion industry. $$$$ They are paid when “you do it alone.”

In my mind, for courts of human law purposes, this would extend to killing the unborn in times of war. Mothers+unborn.
God is unlikely to respect dubious+grand gov exceptions for abortion corporations. imho

If anyone wants to suggest “human” is a euphemism for “hypocrisy,” a case could be made.
Supported in scriptures.
