I guess it doesn't count when children are killed by missle strikes?

https://www.bbc.com/news/live/world-mid ... t-67324897

What I got from this video is the obvious fact that Palestinian Arab children who antagonize Israeli soldiers are commonly left unsupervised by their parents. They are also being trained to hate the Israeli soldiers/ people in their upbringing as well, otherwise they wouldn't be yelling angrily and throwing rocks at them. This was a 11yr old hitting and yelling while trying to incite violence and daring soldiers to respond back in violence so she could be painted as a brave victim. Here is the root of the problem...poor parenting on the Arab (not ALL Arabs of course...) part coupled with hatred for the Jews. A 2-state solution is impossible until the Palestinian Arabs can stop letting there children do things like this. The only thing that will come of 2 states is yet another Arab nation wanting to annihilate Israel unless they stop teaching their children that its ok to act this way. It is rare by the way, though I'm not saying never, that you would see Jewish children treating Palestinian Arabs in the way we see in this video. If a child goes up and begins to yell and hit a officer or military personnel in the US, likely they would be arrested as well...as they should be.

Further, if I with my Christian values, were a Israeli commander who was in charge of greenlighting bombings on Gaza. Then I would never bomb them because I believe in Jesus teaching to love our enemies. So I dont agree with bombing children. But its obvious to me where the main issue lies: its hatred being taught to next generations of Arabs that are causing the primary issue.
The girl in question is now famous enough to have her own Wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ahed_Tamimi and that fact alone suggests this is was an unusual incident and not normally how Arab children and Israeli soldiers interact on a daily basis. According to the profile, her home was slated for destruction to make room for the expansion of Jewish settlements and her village had been raided by Israeli troops over 150 times. And as a child she was also sentenced by an Israeli court to 8 months in prison for this interaction. So one might rationally conclude that it is actually Israel and the Israeli army that is teaching her and other Palestinian children to hate Israel.
I disagree that its a unusual incident. I've seen many times where young Palestinian boys are chucking stones at Israeli soldiers in "protest". Its actually quite common...Rational tells me that Palestinian Arab adults should be telling an 11yr old girl to back off rather than pulling out cellphones to video the incident.

Having spent time in Israel, I have yet to see any Arabs or Palestinian children throwing stones or rocks at soldiers and in fact they generally seemed quite well behaved.

I did offend the elderly proprietor of Al-Barbour spice shop when I gave them a 10 aqalit coin instead of a 10 shekel coin, on accident. (This is the difference of 3 cents versus $3.) The items I was buying would have cost at least $10-$20 in America. He was insulted and asked if I was from Tel Aviv and if his prices weren’t good enough me.

When pulling into a parking lot to get a hair cut, the boys watching it washed if I was from Tel Aviv. I said I was from Ohio and Christian. “Where is Ohio?” “LeBron James is from there.” They really liked that answer!

I'm not sure what your point is? Because Josh didn't see Arabs throw rocks at Israeli soldiers while on vacation in Israel then thats some sort of verification that it doesn't happen? I can promise you...just because you didn't see it, doesn't mean it doesn't happen. I know while I was in Israel, the Jews were unable to go certain places while our Palestinian guide and bus driver had no issues going anywhere without fear of attack.

There is plenty of video proof of Israelis getting pelted by Palestinian teenagers and children with rocks. Plenty...

I was unaware the video was old. She may have been jailed, but walked out alive. She was not put in an oven and cooked.

Hamas is intentionally putting children in the path of bombs. They just said this week that they will be martyrs for the cause. Hamas is making them martyrs. I wish Israel would not bomb, but they are bombing to hit Hamas and Hamas is putting civilians in front of them as shields. This is sick and should not be justified by blaming Israel, but blame Hamas that is doing this BY THEIR OWN WORDS.

Nobody in this thread is sympathetic to Hamas or thinks they should get away with what they do. I feel confident saying that.

That doesn’t mean the Israeli government should keep bombing refugee camps, churches, hospitals, and ambulances. And frankly I simply dont believe it was necessary to airstrike an ambulance. Israeli intelligence is not a credible source. There is no reason to airstrike an ambulance.

My opinion is that 10/7 is actually a MASSIVE failure on the part of the Israeli government and that had they done their jobs then a bunch of Hamas fighters on gliders and pickup trucks would have been stopped cold at the border. There would have been some big firefights but they would quickly have been dispensed with by Israeli gunships and troops in armored vehicles and not gotten more than a few meters past the border. How much of that was a failure of the Netanyahu government's decisions to focus military resources in the north to prop of settlements and failure to listen to military professionals who they viewed as disloyal to the government's attempted dismantling of the independent judiciary? Versus how much was failure of the professional military and intelligence? I have no idea. But Israel is not a military dictatorship, the military is under the control of civilian authorities and that means the buck stops with Netanyahu.

What that means is that Gaza civilians are currently paying an enormous price (many with their lives) for the utter incompetence, and venal negligence on the part of Netanyahu who's main political goal these past years seems to have been to prop up his support by the right wing to stay in power and out of jail. At the expense of the actual competent defense of the country.

Gazans and Palestinians are currently paying an enormous price for Netanyahu's failures. Had Hamas been stopped cold at the border and eliminated like any competent defense force should have done within hours we would not likely be seeing an Israeli invasion of Gaza happening now. 10/6 SHOULD have been a crushing Israeli victory which would have made this invasion unnecessary.

Israel has an absolutely tiny border with Gaza and it is mostly just flat desert which should be the easiest territory to defend. Look at, for example, Ukraine, which has a border that is literally 100-times longer. For the past year they have faced wave after wave of Russian assaults with tanks, artillery, helicopters, jets, missiles, and trained infantry. Far more massive than anything Hamas could ever muster. And for the most part every single Russian offensive has resulted in a smoldering pile of wreckage and the ground littered with dead troops. YouTube and Twitter is absolutely full of this sort of footage. Any Hamas attack into Israel should have met the same fate or worse. Why that didn't happen is inexcusable. And now Palestinian civilians and children are paying the price.

Oh, I don’t think they are monsters at all! I lay the blame more upon the ideology of hatred toward the Jews that is pushed upon their young impressionable minds by their parents and others. Its not their fault that its forced on them at a young age and preached from their homes and mosque.

They don't need any help from their parents and mosques. Israel itself gives them plenty of reason to hate the Israeli occupation, settlements, and Israeli soldiers who carry it out.

I don't think so.

I could go online and load videos from mosque within West Banks and Gaza preaching the destruction of Jews and Israel but I'm thinking it will be a waste of time. You'll never be convinced. Have a good day.
