Sliceitup, I have an honest question to ask you, and this isn't meant to condemn. You have stated before you are a member in good standing at a conservative Mennonite church and uphold conservative Anabaptist principles and doctrines. Is your church supportive of the LGBTQ community, or else are they supportive of the stance you take?
It’s an exponential help (to me) to not view the matter as bad eggs/good eggs, but to discern the individual (as we are all individuals in need of Jesus, bar none) from the organized political bloc/cult that routinely “scoops up” and attempts to own any-all for their purposes of political power, protection, promotion, along with generous access to the public treasury.

No doubt can remain, obama, now biden, have spoken for and promoted the organized political bloc/cult, from the U.S. White House. Carnal sin is now “of Biblical proportions.” It’s beyond denial.
I am sure there are many within the gay community that would be appalled with the idea of normalizing pedophilia. However on a wider scope there is a push to indoctrinate (groom) children in our school system, in presenting drag shows to children etc. Add to that the fairly new, but forceful mantra now being touted by the current administration and other liberal groups, “That our children are not our children, but the children in this country are everyone’s children. It is becoming evident that there is an incremental movement normalizing pedophilia, just as it was with gay marriage.
