Gender confusion

Things that are not part of politics happening presently and how we approach or address it as Anabaptists.

Wait. Isn't part of your complaint that the state isn't using the sword to enforce your view of gender and sexuality, but is instead protecting and affirming identities you don't agree with? Don't you want the state to enforce your view -- to enforce the belief that the only legitimate sexuality is heterosexual marriage? Aren't you seeking the state to force your views on other people's most intimate relationships and identities?

Aren't anti-sodomy laws or bans against contraception also the force of the sword?

To me it doesn't sound like you're against the force of the sword; you want the force of the sword to benefit you.
Biology enforces that the only legitimate sexuality is heterosexual, no other union is capable of making new children, so we don't really need the state for that.

What do you think the bible means when it says
But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain
And who exactly do you think temp is trying to benefit? Somehow I don't think she's struggling with her gender identity as a grandma, but I think she might be worried about more herself. I happen to think slowing the roll on hormone blockers for children due to confusion is a public benefit, do you disagree?

When talking about position of molecules cis and trans are used all the time. It was kind of a joke

I see it as being a serious problem that the data we use to support transgenderism in the US is also used to say the rate of regret is minimal yet the very survey filters out people who detransition. First hand account of stories of people who were offered hormones and corrective surgery before 18 are discounted… lifelong consequences occur from the taking of these medication‘s let alone the surgeries. If an 18 year old the signs for themselves but that’s what they want to do… Who am I to stand in their way? But if a child wants to do those things they are not understanding the issue nearly enough to make those decisions. I mean realistically most adults don’t even understand medications… medical illiteracy is a serious issue and you throw in hormones and surgeries that are not particularly well researched with less than stellar outcomes… it would be very prudent for a country to prevent transitions for children

All of this and more.
The very idea tax dollars are even considered for these uses is beyond reason.
Yet, tax dollars are driving it! “Anything for a buck” used to be a derogatory phrase.

All children+teens should be in the same “boat.” WAIT UNTIL ADULTHOOD.

The instant gratification mentality has gone haywire. On the public dime.

Perhaps I could understand you better if you wrote in complete sentences and consistently used correct writing conventions like capitalization, punctuation and grammar.

Ah. Science humor that went above my head. I respect that kind of specialization.

Anyway, I think the point is that most of us in most of areas of life are not using terms like "cis-gender." This is language that gets used in particular contexts and particular conversations.

It seems quite accurate regardless of one's ethics. A trans woman or a transgender woman is a person who was not born woman but wishes to move into the identity, hence the prefix "trans". Regardless of how you might feel about the situation, this is an accurate use of language.
Because the person is not a woman. The person is a man who is suffering from delusions or compulsions.
