I was being mostly rhetorical. I agree with you. When some of FotW went to the BLM protests, I saw that as a problem. When Christians went to the rally or whatever it was at DC, I saw it as a problem. When Christians went to the truck protest, I also saw that as a problem. If any of those groups were to assemble in front of my house, I would offer them food and show that I cared for them as people, but to actively go to their rally/protest/whatever it is usually ends up implying allegiance to their cause.Ernie wrote: ↑Sat Feb 05, 2022 9:06 pmNo, I am talking about going somewhere very visible to protest the governments regulations. Church of God Restoration
Is there any evidence in the NT, that NT Christians purposefully put themselves in situations where they could protest their freedoms being taken away?
At the same time, I still think its wrong to endorse a vaccine produced by unethical means, and I have yet to see anything from Plain News addressing why some people actually care and presenting any facts. Even just a reprint of Dr Miggiani's articles written in the Heartbeat of the Remnant would go a long way towards showing that there is a Christian camp with a reason to object to this, while Plain News can still choose to stay neutral on it. This is why some other people have chosen to withdraw support from your news, and it honestly is something I have considered doing. Your articles have a slant that is coming through and perhaps your point is to object to the Christian's association with the Right, which is good and just to point out, but not by swinging to the Left instead. I have seen several articles that imply that no God fearing Christian would actually take a stand against this and those that do only do so because of the Right. While that may be the case for a lot of people, there are those who have a nonpolitically motivated reason to object.
