They aren't telling you that because it is not true. There is extensive data on this.
Before the vaccines, Covid-19 deaths in nursing homes were a huge problem, the vaccines have helped tremendously.

I think this is what Wade was talking about. BC Health had been covering this up until the national news got a hold of it. There are rumours, unsubstantiated as far as I know, that this is not solitary case.Bootstrap wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 8:13 amThey aren't telling you that because it is not true. While you bring good information about the spread, I question some of your suggestions for an aerosolized virus. These would work for other types, but aerosolized, not so much.Ernie wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 7:50 am
1. When possible, talk to others from a distance of 6-10 feet away or wear a mask.
2. If you are inclined to shake hands with people or believe that Christians should practice the Holy Kiss during a pandemic of this nature, do so and then back away.
3. Use sanitizer or wash your hands with soap and warm water after touching things others have recently touched.
4. Cough into your elbow rather than into your hand.
5. Meet outdoors when possible. When meeting indoors, have airflow through the building if possible.
6. Meet in smaller groups rather than larger groups.
7. Where a mask when riding in a vehicle with non-family members.
8. Sing in open areas with some physical distance between one's self and non-family members.
In addition,
If you or a family member have been exposed to someone with Covid, self-quarantine or take additional measures to help protect others from getting your virus.
Thanks for the article. I don't see anything in this article that indicates that more nursing home residents die from the vaccine than from Covid-19, I thought that was his claim. In fact, the article seems to be urging boosters, saying that they are important for nursing home residents. That is consistent with what I have been reading. I agree with Robert that the research currently seems to say that seniors and immunocompromised people can benefit from boosters, but they aren't needed by the general population.silentreader wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 8:37 am I think this is what Wade was talking about. Certainly.
In other words, pretty much all the time, forever....or if an outbreak is possibly about to happen...
I don't see it that way. This summer in Pennsylvania there was not much likelihood of an outbreak. I watched the maps and the outbreaks as a wave made it's way north from the southern states. I predicted the wave to hit PA towards the end of August and that is what happened.
I agree with these mitigation efforts as well!Robert wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 9:58 am 1. Eat low sugar balanced meals. Protein and vegetables are good for you. Carbs convert to sugar. You body needs them, but excess is not good for your immune system since they convert to sugar in your system.
2. Take multivitamins. They are cheap and do not hurt. It just makes sure you have a balanced amount of vitamins your body needs to run on.
3. Get outside and get some exercise. Walk and enjoy the world.
4. Don't trust all the propaganda from the governments of this world. Some is good and some is distorted for political purposes.
We did all the above PLUS xtra of supplements specific to benefit against Covid.Ernie wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 3:26 pmI agree with these mitigation efforts as well!Robert wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 9:58 am 1. I think Wade was saying that people were dying in nursing homes DESPITE vaccines, not saying because of vaccinesBootstrap wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 2:00 pmThanks for the article. Delta has resulted in more deaths in nursing homes. So far, the analyses I have seen seem to indicate that boosters help in nursing homes. Am I missing something?
There has been nonstop spread of COVID in basically the entire country for over a year now. The idea that "outbreaks" only happen infrequently is simply because you don't know about all the ones happening amongst your neighbours, people at the grocery store, etc.Ernie wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 3:24 pmI don't see it that way.
