Seems like the country is divided as to what is quackery and what isnt.
I've known just as many people or more who say that mainstream medicine is quackery.
Of course we don't really know how effective plant based medicines are compared to the man made chemicals they want to feed us when we are ill.
If you think about it, big pharma. has a vested interest in lieing. And they pay enough in advertising so that the mainstream media is certainly not going to bite the hand that feeds them.
It's going to be next to impossible to get an unbiased assessment of what is and isn't effective in treating illnesses when there are corporate lobbyists twisting arms and lining pockets to make sure the status quo is maintained in their favor. It will always be a battle against the competition. And unfortunately the ones with the most money always seem to win in this ungodly world we live in.
Because there's definitely no money to be made off of "natural" or "herbal" or other plant based medicines, right?

And because the mega-corporations who sell "natural" or "herbal" supplements have no vested interest in lying to the customers who they are selling this stuff to, right?

But yes, when we are constantly bombarded by information, and when that information is contradictory and we don't feel like we can really trust any of the purveyors of said information, it is very tempting to conclude that it doesn't matter what we believe and just accept whatever "feels" right or is easiest to accept. However, I don't believe that is the approach God would have us to take. I think God still wants us to make an effort to know the truth.
I can grow feverfew. I can't grow Advil. There are money on herbals, but usually it is convenience.
Testimony of natural.

My husband, since I've known him about 31 years, gets sick a good (or bad) 2x a year. Always put on antibiotics. He gets seasonal allergies do out on Claritin too.

3 years ago this November, we discovered a brand of supplements, Standard Process. Plant based. We bought some Thymex. He started taking it and had not been sick at all since!!! No more antibiotics, Claritin, sneezing, etc. It's been a life changer. This do hos people with asthma
Mom finally started taking it (she has asthma) & she's do happy she's not been sneezing anymore.

You can pay for Dr. Visits & antibiotics, or go natural

By the way, I just read a fascinating article about COQ10 being effective to great kidney disease, one could possibly avoid dialysis!!

oops... wrong source.
In God's Plan, Word, and Purpose, phrmk is directly opposed to God always, and is deadly - deceptive, deceitful, pernicious with all society, and deceiving the whole world.
So what is "phrmk"? I recently cut some roots which resulted in my meal having fresh ginger; is this ok?
So far, in answer to "is this ok?", overall, again (just posted in other thread) from Wuest study of Galatians,

"This present age is described by Paul as poneros (ðïíåñïò). The
English word which best translate this Greek word is pernicious.
Webster says, “That is pernicious which works mischief or destruction.” This present age therefore is not
content to perish in its own corruption, but seeks to drag all men with it down to its own inevitable
destruction. "

You formerly said the cutting roots is bad, so I'm asking if it's okay to slice ginger, or slice potatoes. (Well, I don't eat potatoes since I stick to a keto diet, so we might find agreement there that cutting root vegetables is bad.)

You may want to go back and re-read your 334 posts.

Edit: Typo, I should have said "the cutting of roots is bad". I hope you can tolerate the occasional grammatical, spelling, or typographical mishap.

No need. Your observations are not accurate.

You seemed to indicate it was ok to speak straightforward to you, Aaron. I have known people who your posts remind me of. Some were elderly and seemed to have a mind full of thoughts that were no longer coming out as orderly as they once did. Some were younger people in need of medication.

Again, I am trying to be as nice as possible, but I am more than a little concerned about you.

Don't try to be anything. Just tell the truth.

The truth is most people should not be "in need" of medication - and the ones you saw likely did need something, yes,
but not medication except as a stop-gap type help. Realize as posted elsewhere that a decade or two ago, ALL the shootings (school/ mass shootings) were by someone KNOWN (as reported) to have been ON drugs (prescribed) or had gone OFF the drugs without having recovered their health.

Usually thinking someone is in need of medication is the mindset of those under ... well, instead, rather "for lack of knowledge", not knowing YET what to do ....
