This forum isn’t a church. If you’d like to see strict boundaries on doctrine... can I recommend your nearest Anabaptist fellowship?

Your comment about Jews has me questioning. Do you think Jews are part of the body of Christ in you including them as "Holy, set apart to God"? If not would that qualify them as false teachers?Aaron wrote:Outside of the body of Christ, are multitudes of false teachings and false teachers.
They often are brought to forums, worldwide, with few if any restrictions - and usually not recognized.
In the forums that uphold the truth of Scripture, those who visit with false values/ or who follow false teachers, don't get comfortable.

A very mixed bag of different people, with different backgrounds, with different problems, with different perspectives... A people who are sharing, questioning, sometimes wrong and sometimes accusing but hopefully all growing in Christ.Aaron wrote:What is this forum ?

"(In short, an answer to a question, or part of the answer, asked by Joy a little while ago (I honestly thought was common knowledge among the set apart (holy, set apart to God) Jews and Anabaptists ) )"
I was and do refer to Godly, Righteous, Holy, Born Again, Hearts Circumcised by God, Set Apart By God.
The "Jews first and also the Gentiles" (as written thus in the Bible someplace)

That scripture has a qualifier:Aaron wrote:In this post >>>Wade wrote:Your comment about Jews has me questioning. The Jews don't believe the Gospel of Christ.Romans 1:16, KJV: "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."

The Jews were the FIRST ONES TO BELIEVE THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST.
SCRIPTURE was given by God to the JEWS, entrusted to them by GOD, God Says, (IN the BIBLE).
(God Says in the Bible: Salvation came through the Jews)
More Jews TODAY may be believing the Gospel of Christ than ever before in history ( I don't know how many total then or now)

There is a pertinent distinction, though.Aaron wrote:The Jews were the FIRST ONES TO BELIEVE THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST.Wade wrote:The Jews don't believe the Gospel of Christ.

In general, Jews today do not believe the Gospel of Christ. Fortunately, there are exceptions.
In general, Anabaptists today do believe the Gospel of Christ. Unfortunately, there are exceptions.
So referring to both groups as set apart in the same way does not compute. Nor does elevating Anabaptists above other believers, all of whom are set apart.

Re: Teachings re Marriage?
Jesus calls us "out", "EK-", as in "EKklesia" , out of the world, out of society, out of the flesh, out of religion , toJosh wrote:What is the utility of thanking in public for PMs, other than to make some of us feel left out?
be holy - holy = set apart
In Christ Jesus.
So , then, with this partly to go by, would you want to be "in" still, "in" some group not "in Christ" ? Or EK- , "out" of any group that is not in Christ ?
