I believe that black lives matter. I more often vote for Democrats. However, I think you may be right about one of the motivations of the founders of Planned Parenthood. I doubt that is a current motivation of PP leadership today, but it still is an unintended result. I think abortion is a blind spot for many Democrats, who on most issues are for the protection of those with less power.
i agree with this, except the final part.
i believe there are more ways than one to respond to any problem.
the political parties have different ideas about how best to respond to problems, NOT the commonly recited, one side cares, the other does not.

This is another reason why I do not see a massive racial issue in the US today.
Which is utterly unsurprising because most homicides in this country are by people who know each other. Domestic violence, disputes within families, between neighbors, co-workers etc.
All this statistic means is that most homicides are not related to racism. Not that racism is not a problem.

It shows there is not a systematic issue of racism across the nation. The percentages would be much different if there were.
Only if you assume that the end-point of racism is homicide. Which I do not. They are two separate phenomena. Homicide is most commonly a crime between people who know each other. Racism is most commonly a crime (or sin) between people who do NOT know each other.,
The end-point of racism is not homicide. It is things like poverty, unjust criminal justice systems, unequal education, unequal employment opportunities, and so forth.

And aren't even illegal. In many states there are tremendous discrepancies in educational opportunities between poor districts and rich districts in states where education is funded by local property taxes. And this is all perfectly legal.
And, by the way, as far as I know. Homicide is also illegal too. Yet it also persists.

It's not just hearts that need changing. It's also the laws and systems that apportion far less money and resources to schools in poor communities compared to wealthy communities by clever drawing of school district boundary lines and reliance on local property taxes.
