I'm curious - can someone outline for me what this woman is calling "Biblical Unity", the Scriptures it is based on, and how that applies to the issues we are dealing with today?

Maybe I've missed something? - because I haven't seen anyone deny systemic racism. But I have seen a segment of people who follow Christ and apply his teaching of not resisting evil. To me, Christ means we are not to be reactive or partaking in activism, or protesting or whatever. To some onlookers follows of Christ look like deniers and lacking action, but the truth is rather they are active in loving as Christ taught and feel no need to compensate in reactive ways to correct everyone else's wrong views.
This sounds like there may be a lot less disagreement than I see in some threads.

To me, a great deal of this is about white Christians who feel they have a lot to say about people out there who are protesting what they see as injustice, expressing strong disapproval, and sometimes implying that we know what those black people should be thinking or feeling or doing.

To me, that's extremely different from focusing on biblical concerns.

To me, a lot of the differences may also involve political narratives added in, which are not based on biblical concerns. And they may include beliefs that some people know what is "really behind all of this" when I am skeptical that they do, or that these political narratives are particularly clarifying. If we really all focused on Jesus and biblical unity, I bet there would be a lot less divisiveness in this discussion.

Here is a link to Monique Duson's videos on youtuber. She has some cogent thoughts on CRT and the manipulative politics in place. It took me awhile to get through them all because of slow internet speeds. I found her videos worth the wait though.

Monique and her friend also host a show called "All The Things". Here is one where they discuss women in the early church.

I personally do not agree with all of their conclusions or statements but I recognize that they are making an effort to refocus on the Bible as the source of Christian discipleship response.

Thanks Wade. I think there definitely are some that deny "systemic racism" exists...but thanks for noting that you don't. If I am hearing you correctly.

I hear what you are saying...personally though, I think there is a place to protest things like systemic racism.
Is it any wonder why you get challenged so much on here when you have said you are not for participation in voting but yet you are willing to support protests...?

I don't see the conflict. Could you explain it to me?

Nobody has answered this so far. Can someone help?

Since nobody here is promoting Critical Race theory, I suspect close attention to what the Bible teaches would probably be the most helpful thing to focus on. I wasn't able to efficiently figure out that was from the parts I looked at, so perhaps someone who has taken the time to work through all of this can summarize?

Is there real biblical thinking here, or is this political hand-waving and political faction building? If there is real biblical thinking, what passages is it based on, and how does she interpret and apply them today?

In the vein of every person learning to parse and think for themselves it’s important that each person takes the time and study the linked materials For oneself, then ruminate on those materials honestly while avoiding labels that denigrate the proposed thesis in order to promote a favorite political party. Trying to filter this through political partisanship won’t help comprehension. The links and the referential links on those pages should be viewed in the light of Biblical teachings.

If one finds his/her knowledge of the Bible is lacking, then the remedy is simple: spend much more time prayerfully reading the Bible itself. Make the prayerful reading of the Bible a priority over the internet and mass media. One can grow the relationship with God by talking to Him directly about what His Word is telling one.
