Mark Gooch-Arrested for the murder of Sasha Krause

I haven't been able to find any records or case files for Sam Gooch on any official sites, but there is this information online. If this birth date is correct then Sam is less than a month younger than my youngest brother. That's so young!

Jon Paxton, spokesman for the Coconino County Sheriff's Office, said Samuel Gooch had posted bond Monday after he was taken into custody on Sunday in the Phoenix area. He was booked into jail on suspicion of hindering prosecution and attempting to tamper with evidence.

Wow. That was hard to read. Poor Sasha. I wonder if the DNA under her nails means that she fought back and scratched him or something?

My wife read me a forwarded email to the effect that Samuel Gooch has been released with all charges dropped, and that the setup on him may have been for the purpose of getting their hands on his electronics. Apparently he had nothing to do with this and may have thought he was simply retrieving some of his brother's belongings from a friend.

AP News did an article. A lot of it is stuff I've read before but there were a couple of things that were new to me. Like the part about Mark having his car detailed the day after Sasha's body was found, and Jacob Gooch texting Sam and Mark about coughing on a Mennonite he pulled over "so he would spread Corona to the wedding they were going too. lol."
