Good for whom?
Hmm, I guess that is subject to opinion. But perhaps most importantly, a stable company. Or one you or an acquaintance have had experience with, perhaps feedback? :)

Probably good for barnhart; an amateur like PaulD trying to get into "day trading" represents a wealth transfer to the finance industry in New York City, which should (in theory) indirectly benefit you.

Robinwood is free. Too bad I don’t use it anymore or I could give you my referral link. ;)

Robin Hood had a major failure during a big stock market decline a few weeks ago. Basically useless for someone who wants to play the market.

Probably should just go for one that has the hugest fees, that way you get your itch scratched, & money lost faster, and can move on with your life.
If you do it right now, and in 12 months show a profit, remember that's not a win.
You have to see how much better you did than a simple index fund would have returned.
And then figure how much time you spend.
And then figured our how much the mental and emotional cost was (what could have you been dwelling on or doing?).
And then you need to look at the tax implications, which are different with day trading vs regular investing.
And you need to look at how much your real job suffered from your lack of attention, the opportunities you did not see because you were not looking at the big picture and the long term.

Look at day trading like a basketball game. You are a part timer, going up against full timer players. Who's going to with that game? Capitalism is just too efficient to leave gobs of money on the table for part timers to just take. How much food does the runt of the litter get?

Probably a better investment and use of time.

By the way, I’ve got a bunch of stocks for sale if you want some. Heavily discounted!

Well, the time to make money has kind of passed - let me tell you, it was tempting to buy some puts on RCL two months ago.
