I used to help pack boxes for CAM back when it was still called Christian Aid For Romania and was based out of Berlin, Ohio. Since then it changed names and got quite a bit larger in scope.

At a more recent CAM open house event in Ohio (I had not been to one in years), I noticed the crowd of people was overwhelmingly the Charity affiliated folks.

Is that an actual shift in personnel involved, or did I just imagine it?

Proportionately speaking, I wonder if the conservative Beachy and Mennonite churches provide a large part of the donors and disaster relief and domestic VS. while a large amount of Charity type folks serve on foreign missions. That is only my impression. Certain ultra conservative Mennonites tend to shy away from serving with CAM because of the influence of more liberal Beachys, Mennonites and Charity folks.

In addition to knowing many of them personally, they dress distinctively. Long white flowing veils. Very long dresses in a limited number of styles. The men all have a look to them as well.

Maxi vans fill the parking lot (not usually black).

I know there have has to be other people here who know what I am talking about.

I think I know what you mean, I was just curious what criteria you used. The white veils used to be distinctive to Charity but now are used much more widely.
