I just got off the phone with Mom a few minutes ago.

A week ago yesterday after biopsies from her endoscopy, she was told she has cancer (stomach)

Well folks went to praying- Mom went to library to get books on curing cancer naturally- she did everything in her 'natural' power along with praying, and began the baking soda drinks in the morning and evening- and aloe vera juice as well- doing all the right foods/smoothies-

Today- she got a call from the same Dr.- having had the CAT Scan done yesterday- he gave her the good news that she does not have cancer!!

Glory and thanks be to God and thank you to anyone who whispered a prayer.

She is still supposed to keep her appt. June 7 they said 'just in case' so we will continue to pray and she will continue to trust the Lord AND do all she can in the natural.

Thank you dear Lord for your compassion and mercy!!
I've had a difficult time with this-
Apparently Mom was 'mistakenly' told she doesn't have cancer-so they are back to saying she does. The CT Scan revealed it had not 'spread' but she does have stomach cancer.
It's so difficult to at one time give glory & praise for what we thought was a healing to find out that the person who called & said she doesn't have cancer was mistaken.

I went to a cancer support ministry dinner at our Church Friday night- it was awesome- very strengthening. I am asking God to give me strength for Mom and to stay encouraging to her- while at the same time facing what many have faced & it is painful to me, the thought and reality of losing my mom. Ive been so blessed to have her for 61 years. I dread that she may suffer and pray she does not.

My sister-in-law asked for prayers for her younger sister. They just learned she has bone cancer and its advanced. Her youngest daughter is 4 years old and a special needs child.

Could you share a name to pray for her.? I know the Lord knows- if you'd rather not share her name- we will pray for her

This was posted on Facebook by the Amish Heritage Foundation. This elderly woman could most definitely use prayers and if there's anyone around Moultrie County, Illinois who wants to show up in court tomorrow for moral support for her then I'm sure she and her daughter would appreciate it. It's going to be in the Moultrie County Courthouse at 1:30 pm tomorrow June, 28th.

"Anyone here from Arthur, IL or knows people (Amish, Mennonite, and non-Amish) in Arthur? I (Torah) am here in Arthur today through tomorrow (Friday). There's a major sexual abuse case going on and the hearing is tomorrow (Friday, 1:30PM in Sullivan, IL courthouse) to determine custody of a 90-year-old bedridden Amish grandmother Nettie Yoder whose Amish son Gerald Yoder was raping her for at least 10 years.
.
Does anyone know these people by any chance?
.
And would you be willing to help spread the word?
.
We need as many people as possible to show up on Friday at the court hearing to support Nettie and her Amish daughter to get custody.
.
Almost all the rest of the siblings are defending Gerald and trying to get custody taken away from the good daughter. They don't care at all about Nettie and they also are trying to sweep the rapes under the carpet instead of pressing charges. The whole community has known for YEARS about Gerald and his sexual crimes (Nettie isn't the only one he's assaulted). But no one has stepped up and spoken out until just recently."
