We have a pair of nesting owls on our propertynand we don’t even have chipmunks in our yard now!
We do too. Occasionally I find a tuft of fur on the ground, that's all they leave.

Some of my tulips are a day or so away from blooming. I noticed my ground rose is leafing out pretty good. And weeds. I have weeds.

We sent the roosters to the butcher today, so maybe tomorrow we can plant garden. They were roaming around to eat the weeds / seeds/ bugs.

Peas, lettuce, spinach, chard, carrots, beets, onions, tomatoes, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, beans, sweet corn, & corn for corn meal. Melons, pickles, potatoes, sweet potatoes.

We also have strawberries and asparagus and a tea patch with several kinds of tea.

We have lots of garlic chives and garlic. The spinach is up, plus lettuce just starting. We transplanted onions recently. We were given some blackberry plants, but they haven't shown any sign of life yet. The raspberries we planted last year are beginning to leaf out.

Tulips are in full bloom, except for a few fancy varieties I planted. My clumping bamboo just started to shoot. My berry bushes are leafing out. I'm gonna wait a week or two before planting sunflowers and gourds.

I moved some peonies a few years ago. I didn't get any blooms last year, which I thought was odd. This year I have buds forming. So I guess peonies take a few years to bloom?
