That is so incredibly awesome. I have a friend who lost 80 in the same time frame or less. Only those who have done something like this know how hard it is and how wonderful the feeling of accomplishment. I lost a few myself a while back and I can say it was one of the most satisfying things I have done in awhile. Way to go.

I continue to lose 5 pounds then gain 6 pounds. I have yet to lose weight and keep it off.

Congratulations, RP. Good work. I lost a hundred in one day: I cleaned junk out of the motor home. Improved the gas mileage too.

Congrats!! I lost 34 lbs over a few months, a couple of times, and gained it back
I know the feeling of accomplishment (and health!) and the feeling of discouragement in this area-
Keep up the good work & hopefully it will inspire & encourage others!

Congratulations, rp. :D

several years ago, after a doctor’s warning, i lost 30 pounds, on my own; to record meals, i used http://www.myfitnesspal.com
it was work. i had to concentrate and stay committed.
i’ve kept it off. :D
but, i have failed to lose more. a few times, i’ve lost up to 10 pounds more, but. nope.
i fluctuate in those 5-10 pounds.
this winter was rough, i wanted sugar like crazy. i think i’m still in the same weight range, but, not feeling good about it. i purposely do not weigh myself frequently. sometimes, months go by.

maybe rp’s thread here will inspire me to get to work on it. :D
i would like to be down some before i see my family again. now, there’s a goal. 8-)

i loosely follow a diet FB page, Trim Healthy Mama. https://trimhealthymama.com/
i like their upbeat, attractive presentation.
but, their diet seems ‘way too complicated for me.

Whatever the route, it’s WORK.
Congratulations again, rp.
