Easier to kill babies, harder to kill worms?

Post by ragpicker »

On the same day in Virginia, one person introduced two bills.

Bill 2491: Makes it easier to kill babies.
Bill 2495: Makes it harder to kill worms.

Do any of my left wing friends on here want to step up and unilaterally, unequivocally condemn this insanity? You don’t have to. I’m just asking if you can and are willing to do it. I am genuinely curious. And frankly, it would be refreshing and trust building.

Pardon my intrusion; I am left handed, not left wing.

As usual, the Bible has all the answers; in this case a pretty good defense against being murdered:

I agree. Totally with no buts.

What's the point of restricting pesticide applications during the summer?

I note that Bill 2491 was rightly defeated and never left committee. I haven't read up on the merits, or lack thereof, of Bill 2495.

The fact that it was even introduced is bad enough!! Eventually, people will be worn down just like every other sin and abomination that is now legal or approved of, or at least acceptable- the slippery slope is getting way to slippery too fast.

I’ve got zero response from the left on this, both here and Facebook. Why?

I’m not sure who the left is. If it’s me, I unilaterally, unequivocally condemn this insanity of abortion.

I don’t know enough about the worms to comment on that. I’m somewhat involved in agriculture, and I know here in the NW the farmers have all kinds of spraying regulations of pesticide and insecticide, and are required to take classes each year to maintain their license.
I suppose the regulation on timing of the worm spray may be quite appropriate.
It could be that they are protecting another specie that is at risk during that window. For example we can’t poison voles in the fields a certain time because it endangers migratory Canada geese.
