Please pray for my wife, Meg. She's hearing lovely worship music no one else can hear. Today when I was gone she went out to find the performers and give them some crackers and pesto. They weren't in the neighbors' garage or in the park. She ended up in the ER. She is still wondering why I don't hear the beautiful music and can't turn it up for her when its hard to hear the lyrics. I expect this is connected with her seizure disorder. I plan on trying to talk with her doctor tomorrow.

once, when caring for my mother, i checked in on her at night.
she was comfortable, sitting up against pillows, her reading light was near her face, it was warm, causing her cheek to be rosy. her skin was delicate, i asked her if the light was too warm? ..
she said, in such a peaceful voice, “no, i’m fine. just sitting here on the porch in the sunshine.”

her dream was so pleasant, she was so relaxed, i did not want to disturb her.
i wondered, which porch in her life? what age was she? i can only guess, but, i imagined she was 16 again, healthy and carefree.

praying for Meg, and Jim.

Please pray for the family of Diego Senn, who died in a plane crash in Washington today. He was a flight instructor with Moody Bible Institute. His parents were also Bible translators in Brazil, and he grew up with our children. His father was one of my closest friends there.

Please lift my mother up in your prayers.. A large, suspicious mass has developed on her upper arm muscle. She's had xray and ultrasound thus far, with an MRI coming up on Thursday. Presumably this will give a more clear depreciation/ direction and it's likely a biopsy will follow.
We are praying that this turns out as benign and as something that can be removed w/o recurrence.

Thank y'all

The plans for today barring a weather hold up are to have the head stone placed for our infant son. We would appreciate your prayers as this just another one of the hard things to do in the loss of a child.

We laid my dad to rest on Saturday, after being sick for about two weeks. He passed away very peacefully and was quite ready to see his Savior.

We just got word that my sister's father-in-law who has cancer and is in hospice care, is not doing well. It appears he too will soon pass away. My sister's husband has already lost his mother and only sister to cancer and is taking this quite hard. When his father passes, he and a nephew will be the only ones left in the family. We would appreciate prayers for them during this time.

Prayer request:
Please pray for a gentleman I met yesterday. He's been diagnosed with stage 4 agressive carcinoma. This man cares for his wife who is in a wheelchair with ALS. God knows who he is even if I cannot remember his full name but prayers would be appreciated.
