Anyone know how to train the dog to leave them alone?
Never had to do this. Dr. Watson, my daughter’s beagle (a hound), sniffs chickens, and otherwise does not bother them. Rabbits are a quite different story, it is Watson many, rabbits 0. Maybe you need a garden to attract rabbits to keep him occupied?
Valerie, I didn't know you were a believer in wishful thinking.

Sometimes it works. Sometimes the dog manages to lose the carcass and go kill more. Dog personalities are like humans: many different kinds.
