This is your best post yet, Dan.Dan Z wrote:A few thoughts I've latched on to along the way that would make the MN experience a better one for all:
- 1) We need to leave our pride at the door - we're likely wrong more than we think we are.
2) Diversity is the spice of life. MN would be thoroughly boring if we all agreed.
3) Come understanding that when our ideas are challenged two things can happen - we can learn to better defend our beliefs and ideas that can stand up to challenge, or we can learn to move on from the weak or faulty beliefs and ideas that don't stand up. Either way is a win for us.
4) Don't label others, or turn them into a caricature of something in your head. They are dearly loved by God, and likely more nuanced and complex and insightful than you are able to discern from MN alone.
5) Don't take things so personally - have fun, learn, test your ideas, be salt & light!
6) Ultimately, remember which Kingdom you are a part of, and which citizenship is of eternal importance.

Re: Introductions
Hi,
I believe on Jesus Christ, but am not a part of any denomination.
I am married. I like Christian hymns/music and Christian books (non-fiction).
I'm generally quiet and shy, but can be very talkative once I get to know someone and if a subject I'm interesting in is being discussed.
I'm here because I desire to fellowship with other believers who believe similar things in the hopes of making real friendships. I hope to be a blessing here.
And I guess that's my introduction. Not sure what else to say.

I am Mrs.Nisly formerly known as anabaptistenigma. I am a conservative Mennonite from Kansas. The church I attend is affiliated with the Biblical Mennonite Alliance.
I am married and am the mother of three children here on earth.
I am a part time teacher at the local Mennonite sponsored Christian School. I teach Science/History, Art, Writing, and Grammar to a 3-4 grade class of 17 students.
I enjoy reading and learning. I spend way too much time researching a particular topic that has captured my interest.
I also like antiques, china and glassware, interior design, chickens, camping with my family, and occasionally cooking.
