We're told we'll have a freeze warning tonight. Winter "ain't" done yet. You would think that a volcano had thrown up enough particulate matter to give us a year without summer.

Saw an old friend yesterday at the store. We stood and chatted for about 30 minutes while people dashed past us in the aisle. We moved out of everyone's way and had a good conversation catching up on our lives while our wives finished the shopping. I loaded the items into the car in repentance to my dear wife.

She's accustomed to my "store socializations" and after greeting my friends she will finish gathering the items. She says it suits her because then only the things we need end up in the cart (as opposed to my spontaneously grabbing things off the shelves such as snacks).

Years of marriage and accommodations for each other's idiosyncrasies and habits keep things running smoothly. :D

Another cold front is moving in tonight. Like a bad houseguest these cold fronts don't seem to want to leave.

Yesterday I pulled a muscle pulling the youngest children around in the little wagon. I thank the Lord for heating pads and the persons who invented them.

My muscles are doing better since I started to take magnesium thanks be to God.

We had a very busy social and volunteer calendar last week. This week we are getting a short break before we help the children do Spring planting. Time flies when you're having fun

I have been taking magnesium for a couple of years and my leg cramps have all but disappeared. Visiting in MA for two weeks, nd just the right timing as Dodge Center has been getting hammered with snow...I hope it is gone next week when we return home...

I hope your snow is gone as well. Misery this late in the year.

I have good hope the magnesium will work well. I'm tired of ibuprofen.

But do not ignore this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Especially if you're spending all day planting.

Strangely, most people focus on the first statement and ignore the second.
