You can object to anything you please. What you cannot legitimately do is keep implying that “dead baby parts “ are in things you object to, when, in fact, it contains no such thing.JohnH wrote: ↑Thu Sep 03, 2026 9:28 pmJM, do you use coffee creamer that was developed using fetal stem cells? Tested with also is very different than produced with.
Some, however, do not recognize the difference.
Since some people need reminding, "developed with" doesn't mean "fetal stem cell tissues are in the mass produced product". I was very clear to claim that from the beginning, and so was the Children of God for Life website.

Online, I read that Nestle never used fetal stem cells in the development/ testing of their coffee creamer. It's a rumor started by "Children of God for Life".JohnH wrote: ↑Thu Sep 03, 2026 9:28 pmJM, do you use coffee creamer that was developed using fetal stem cells? Is Senomyx connected with Nestle? I believe Nestle contracted with them to do the taste research. No indication anywhere that I can find that the sweetener included any HEK-293.
It would appear this is where the rumor started perhaps?

I haven’t actually dug in the Nestlé. It’s not as important to me honestly because I don’t know anyone who actually uses the product.AnthonyMartin wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2026 7:58 am Is Senomyx connected with Nestle? They do have extensive research, but most of what I was seeing it was in regard to Pepsi

Are fetal stem cells dead baby parts, or not?Judas Maccabeus wrote: ↑Thu Sep 03, 2026 10:10 pm You can object to anything you please. What you cannot legitimately do is keep implying that “dead baby parts “ are in things you object to, when, in fact, it contains no such thing.
Online, you should have been able to find out that Senomyx contracted with quite a few different parties for development of artificial flavourings, of which their entire technological platform was built on human foetal stem cells. They had major clients lined up including Nestle and PepsiCo.Online, I read that Nestle never used fetal stem cells in the development/ testing of their coffee creamer. It's a rumor started by "Children of God for Life".
Children of God for Life mounted a boycott campaign and was eventually able to pressure PepsiCo not to use anything developed with the technology.
Nestle did use some of the things developed with the technology.
None of this is a conspiracy theory or even in dispute; it's all available in public information. You can find out most of it from Senomyx's old press releases.
It amazes me how a lot of people simply want to stomp their feet and refuse to believe that this could happen, did happen, and is happening.
I run across Nestle-branded flavoured creamers in lots of church kitchens.I haven’t actually dug in the Nestlé. It’s not as important to me honestly because I don’t know anyone who actually uses the product.

I am sure I have seen it but I don’t remember seeing it.
It’s still wrong but I would still see medicine as the dangerous side of compromise.

I actually find the food side more concerning, because it is something that provides absolutely no benefit at all outside of some brief pleasure; I can do without it; there is no worry about things like schools, government mandates, or possibly spreading disease.
And yet it is widespread.
I would agree that medicine is also a dangerous compromise since if I compromise in this area, I can't really claim a religious conviction later and try to stop the compromising. This does mean I am "stuck" with people like Judas Maccabeus out to destroy people like me (and quite possibly eager to have me excluded from employment, my children from school, church attendance, and so forth), but nobody said being an Anabaptist was ever easy.

In my mind, it’s not something someone will argue is necessary. It can be addressed as sinful, but they’re not going to attack you for not using the product.JohnH wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2026 9:02 am

I honestly feel like your dramatic language does more damage. Yeah, maybe you want to call it what it is in your mind, but using credible scientific terms give more credibility.I would agree that medicine is also a dangerous compromise since if I compromise in this area, I can't really claim a religious conviction later and try to stop the compromising. It makes it harder to just dismiss it as ravings

Part of the agenda of the pro-abortion movement is to dehumanise unborn babies. Hence why they call it a "fetus" or a "blob of tissue" and refuse to call it a "baby".
I refuse to part of the pro-abortion agenda. Fetal stem cells are parts from an aborted baby. It is especially concerning when so-called Christians refuse to see or acknowledge this.
