i listened to a livestream mass in the U.S., with a Nigerian priest.
he spoke about carrying the cross of Christian faith, describing a little about the difficulty of doing so in Nigeria.
he recently visited Nigeria. i’ll probably listen to his homily again soon.

i began listening to a Baptist sermon from a small church in rural Kentucky that was recommended.
i plan to finish listening later today.

I listened to singing, teaching and testimony from people I recently met and some I have known for decades. I listened to a sermon by someone I have known since the mid 90's. Also I sang and testified with them.

Our Pastor recently started sermons from the book of James & it is very good! What a change from Galatians he went through previously.

Also we watched Oasis Tabernacle service (2 hours) and this was on fighting the good fight of faith. Very beneficial.

We were driving from Ohio to North Carolina, so we listened live stream through my phone and the car speaker. Parkside‘s message continues in the book of James. It was really good and really challenging as James tends to be. Then we listen to oasis Tabernacle service which is a couple hours. The worship music was really good and he did a teaching instead of a preaching today and the history of the new test about being put together in a different translations it was very interesting.

Which test? The James 1 testing of our faith?

The day’s not over. :-|

So far: (this video is a lot for me) i’ll have to view again, maybe more than twice.

Father Leo / Hijab, Burqa or Catholic Habit? Surprising Difference Between Modesty, Freedom & Religious Identity / -31min
Father Leo discusses the differences between the Muslim hijab, niqab, burqa, and the Catholic religious habit,
focusing on modesty, freedom, human dignity, and religious meaning.

He argues that although both traditions may use head coverings,
their theological motivations and cultural contexts are very different.
Father Leo explains why Catholic religious sisters freely wear the habit as a sign of poverty, consecration, spiritual marriage to Christ, and public witness to their faith.
He also examines Islamic teachings and cultural practices surrounding women’s veiling, questioning whether modesty can become restrictive when it is imposed rather than freely chosen.
The episode explores religious freedom, public identification, women’s dignity, the body, and the Christian theology of the Incarnation.
Father Leo concludes that authentic modesty should flow from freedom, virtue, and a healthy understanding of the human person rather than fear or shame.
