Measels outbreak in Lancaster County
Re: Measels outbreak in Lancaster County
I’m impressed they were able to report that a baby died in childbirth from being “unvaccinated”. I guess you’d better be ready with the full spectrum of 27 vaccines ready to go the second you see the baby crowning.

Maybe not 5 million:Soloist wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2026 12:05 pm https://www.fda.gov/industry/fda-user- ... mendments?
if I raised that kind of money (close to 5 mil) to actually start the process, I think there would be a certain level of outrage that we weren’t using it for something ‘more useful’ like ministry based.
Secondly, my guess is without a corporate sponsor, it would be dead after submitting the fees. Having the money for the fees does not guarantee the FDA would approve your request. It would not be in the US’s best interest to approve a Japanese vaccine that at least some other people who may have otherwise gotten standard MMR would probably want to switch to also and lose money from American pharmaceutical companies.
Finally, if I was going to do something like this, I would probably have someone experienced in the process do it, and not a retired medical worker. Especially someone who is adversarial to the practice.
Are there any waivers of user fees?
Under section 736(d) of the FD&C Act, a waiver may be granted for one or more user fees where:
A waiver or reduction is necessary to protect the public health;
The assessment of the user fee would present a significant barrier to innovation due to limited resources or other circumstances; or
The applicant involved is a small business submitting its first human drug application to FDA for review.
To be granted a waiver, the human drug applicant must submit a written request for the waiver. Applicants may submit written requests (for both CDER and CBER products) via email to FDAUserFees@fda.hhs.gov.
I,am not suggesting that a person could do this, but a large organization certainly can. Are there “Right to Life” groups with similar convictions to yours?

I haven't seen those reports. My question is how Judas Maccabeus knows they are children. I haven't seen any reports that they were children. Is this information public anywhere? Or maybe he has inside information.AnthonyMartin wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2026 5:51 pmThere reports out that claim ages of 80’s. Those reports are false. County Commissioners and RFK or putting out bad misinformation.mike wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2026 2:35 pmDo you have good information that the people who died are in fact children? Reports I read state that the ages, identities, and specific circumstances have not been publicly released.Judas Maccabeus wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2026 2:26 pmWe are not discussing research here. We are discussing an epidemic that is in progress, and two families are mourning dead children. We are putting out a fire.

It’s interesting how they said to protect privacy they can’t release any information.mike wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2026 1:58 pmI haven't seen those reports. That might be so, I don’t know what I don’t know.Judas Maccabeus wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2026 1:25 pm
You would need expertise that either a large corporation or professional society could bring together. The FDA typically does not operate to protect the profits of American companies. And, no, I would not be your man, I have neither the expertise nor the motivation.
You also do not need a corporate sponsor, as you call it. F-18 FDG was approved without one. If you have the money and the expertise, game on.
I’m likely not the guy to do this and my guess is my Catholic buddies would rather spend it campaigning then getting a vaccine.

It could be argued that information doesn't violate anyone's privacy and is in the public interest.JohnH wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2026 2:15 pmIt’s interesting how they said to protect privacy they can’t release any information.mike wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2026 1:58 pmI haven't seen those reports. Interesting. So health records are private… except for vaccinations. Apparently that’s public?mike wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2026 2:20 pmIt could be argued that information doesn't violate anyone's privacy and is in the public interest.

Age, vaccination status, comorbidities those don’t violate privacy 99% of the time.mike wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2026 2:20 pmIt could be argued that information doesn't violate anyone's privacy and is in the public interest.
