Measels outbreak in Lancaster County
2 deaths have been reported in Lancaster County, PA from a widening Measels outbreak. I have no confirmation as to which community is involved. But for some of you, please stop disseminating misleading information. Your misinformation can actually result in dead children. so, please, just stop.
By "misinformation," I do not mean people who have reservations as to the origin of the cell lines that are used to make the vaccine. That being said, rejection of the MMR vaccine will not stop a single abortion. Rejection of the vaccine can and will kill living children.
I am talking about statements that it is composed of "aborted baby parts." That simply is untrue and a deliberate exaggeration.
So just stop, before more of our people die or are crippled needlessly.

We, as a society, have some hard re-learning in our future about vaccines and the pain of childhood death.

Perhaps we should first learn lessons about not murdering perfectly healthy babies first.

Measles is also going around in a valley in Northern PA where I buy produce, in the Amish community and perhaps beyond that, not sure. Some of them are vaccinated and some not. One young Amish man in his 20s that I work with there was in the hospital last week sick to the point where his dad told me he was seriously worried about him. I saw him at work Monday and he has recovered other than his voice still being hoarse.
The thing is, he was vaccinated as a child, and got measles anyway.

It’s not a perfect vaccine and immunity imparted by it can wane after years.
Really the problem facing Americans and the world is we basically have human reservoirs now and unless addressed through quarantine or vaccinations… the diseases will come back and be common childhood illnesses again.
I accept this as inevitable without legal changes as even if they provided an ethical vaccine, the majority of anti vaccine activists would still refuse.

Please, stop this misinformation. You know full well that children are not aborted for the purpose of vaccine production, and the one abortion that was used to create the cell line is the only abortion that is connected with the vaccine. Stop pretending that avoiding the vaccine will stop abortion.
If you have evidence that abortions, except for the one in the 70s, are involved in the production of the MMR vaccine, feel free to present it. Otherwise stop.

No one is murdering babies to create the MMR vaccine. Stop telling falsehoods.

I don't know, without asking his dad. I'll see him next week, and I'll do that if I don't forget.Judas Maccabeus wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2026 1:37 pmThe question is, did he receive one shot or the full series?mike wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2026 12:08 pm Measles is also going around in a valley in Northern PA where I buy produce, in the Amish community and perhaps beyond that, not sure.
