I'm not saying that Fauci did or didn't do anything wrong - just that it's disingenuous to pretend that his conduct could be litigated in court when you know full well he got a preemptive pardon.
Actually, I wasn't thinking of that. You're right.
Despite that, Rand Paul has repeatedly said he believes Fauci belongs in prison or “behind bars,” has made criminal referrals to the DOJ, and has continued to pursue investigations despite the pardon. Even today, during Fauci’s Senate appearance, Paul threatened “repercussions” after Fauci invoked the Fifth Amendment.
That was top of mind for me. It obscured the fact that Biden preemptively pardoned Fauci. Thanks for the reminder.

1. Are we discussing the topic? Good.
2. Are we going around and around in a fight? Let's stop doing that.
3. Is there some serious wrongdoing or relational injury? Let's address that, probably not in public and certainly not for show.

You know as well as I that the court would reject any prosecution of Fauci related to his actions related to COVID.
That often seems to be your go-to explanation for a lot of things. Why so quick to assume malice?
Do you ever overlook something? When you do, is it due to malice?

Considering as Fauci has a blanket pardon, it seems the proper way for things to be evaluated now is for all the facts and details to simply come out, and let the public decide.
It is thus disappointing that Fauci invoked the 5th amendment over 100 times. He has no reason not to share anything. Instead, he is making it appear he has something to hide.

A lot of facts contrary to the info he stated was presented today so the public was able to hear the facts collected over 6 years now stated then came with a question about it to him- so it was very interesting to hear in this way what they know “now” . Obviously, they knew this would be coming or else. Biden wouldn’t have pardoned him with the auto pin. They will determine whether they can hold Fauci in contempt. It is still possible he could face a year in prison in addition to all the facts compile over the six year period. They have now been able to go through the diary of Fauci, where he admitted some things in the diary he’s no longer the superhero he wrote about himself in his diary.

LOL...He isn't making it "appear"; he DOES have something to hide. Someday the Lord will deal with Fauci. While the nation was suffering and sometimes forced to follow strict and sometimes unnecessary Covid mandates and restrictions, that ruined so many lives, Fauci was making millions.

Where can I learn more about this?
He made a lot of money being on the cover of magazines - he was quite the celebrity. Paid for appearances as well. His own diary is revealing a lot. Not sure how a diary can be made available to the public, but it is now.

2025 / Fauci's wealth doubled to $15 MILLION as Americans faced lockdowns, job loss during pandemic
Before leaving his post, Fauci had the highest salary of any government bureaucrat, taking home $480,654 in his final year of service. https://thepostmillennial.com/faucis-we ... g-pandemic

If Fauci is guilty of anything, they should prove their case in court. Politicized show trials aren't terribly useful for this kind of thing.
That's the kind of statement that makes you look political.

Unless, of course, one cottons to the view that Fauci's pardon is invalid because it was signed by autopen.
