Various people some in military, some retired (so I have been familiar with the situation and I ran for a long time), some politicians, etc. it’s very interesting actually but grievoussst the same time. It would be strange to depend on Anabaptist perspective on these situations.

I didn't even know they'd done any comprehensive interviews. I did listen to JD Vance's (very long) interview with Joe Rogan... the main message there was that JD Vance would really like to see a peace deal, and was blaming foreign influence for trying to push against having a peace deal or even doing things to sabotage it. (You can all guess who the "foreign influence" is; I'll just say that it doesn't involve duck sauce or borscht.)

It’s not surprising that those who don’t have tcs that you miss on the many interviews that exist about this. It does help though. The situation continues to evolve. So there’s a continuation of explanations from a wide array of those who “see where we are” on a daily basis. There are some main experts whose experience speaks into the situation. They are on frequently. Naturally it’s not an area where kingdom Christians need to do anything but pray. Not to necessarily understand it all it’s for those who can’t even share “everything” they are made privy to. Other than than to continues to slaughter their own, and chant “Death to America. That’s their plan.JohnH wrote: ↑Sun Jul 26, 2026 9:32 pm I didn't even know they'd done any comprehensive interviews. tcs = trump comprehensive syndrome, trying to listen to everything he says (when it's what he does that actually matters)?

Not sure why you're condescending to post on this thread if you don't think Mennos can take a comprehensive view of the situation?Valerie wrote: ↑Sun Jul 26, 2026 2:45 pmExperts vastly disagree- heard many of those who have inside intelligence and close to the situation and whose area of expertise strongly agree with what our Commander in Chief & his advisors are doing. No way would I expect Mennonites to agree especially if they are not watching the interviews and just assuming Trump & Hegseth are alone in their decisions & perspectives.barnhart wrote: ↑Sun Jul 26, 2026 6:10 amWhich is it, regime change or weapons of mass destruction? If regime change, it looks like the same sort of people but younger and more determined. If it is about nuclear weapons, we were told by the administration very clearly the entire nuclear program was eliminated by operation hammer last year. One way or another this looks like a pack of lies to me.

You can catch them on Fox News- they’re on all the time at various times- if you can’t watch FOX then I assume it’s not of enough interest. I’m not saying it should be but we can’t without explanations by experts, understand as non-resistant people.Only an Anz wrote: ↑Mon Jul 27, 2026 12:02 amWhat specific interviews, though?Valerie wrote: ↑Sun Jul 26, 2026 2:59 pmVarious people some in military, some retired (so I have been familiar with the situation and I ran for a long time), some politicians, etc. it’s very interesting actually but grievoussst the same time. So experts come and go, but if Fox News is the only source of those experts… then you really aren’t getting a balanced perspective of the military or war action.
Military experts go on CNN for example and often the information is just as propaganda based.
You certainly can claim to be informed by people who are experienced, but having read fairly extensively, I’ve seen the opposite views being expressed by retired military officers.
Name some names and then the bias either is exposed or revealed to be neutral.
I really have a distaste for military officers who make their living on media spinning the propaganda.
As a nonresistant believer, I dispute your claim that we can’t understand.

You might possibly be more qualified to see truth through the smoke screens of nationalism, patriotism and empire. You haven't surrendered to the ideology that violence is redemptive. Don't let the Valeries of the world discourage your idealism.

Those they are interviewing are not “from” Fox News.Soloist wrote: ↑Mon Jul 27, 2026 11:54 am

What do you suggest we do?
