Why is the boy's hat twice the price?Ernie wrote: ↑Mon May 25, 2026 9:08 pmhttps://goodsstores.com/products/mens-r ... a718&_ss=r

A wee little man can’t say, I’m sorry. A big man owns his mistakes and apologizes.
A wee little man trusts himself and his own discernment. A big man is humble enough to know that he needs the counsel and input of others.

Interesting. Unless I missed some slight difference in the style or shape, other than the color, I saw hats like this in common use (and in stores) in Zurich. (They were natural color.)Ernie wrote: ↑Mon May 25, 2026 9:08 pm ....

I d9 n9 deny things have changed over the years. The Goods store referenced in the links at their Quarreyville location once sold plain suits off the rack, and now their hat selection is greatly reduced. In fact they largely only stock Amish hats with a small number of the Mennonite worn hats. I do believe the other stores carry a larger selection.
The question at least in Eastern is not do the younger want to wear that hat. It is do they adapt and wear it as they get older. In my experience the hats get worn a lot more for going to/fr9m church than for everyday wear.
But then what do I know. I feel bad, but believe there is only a generation or two left for most of these groups.
They will have all moved to a more liberal OR conservative situation in the next 50 years 8MHO.
