What he “does” is trying to protect a great many people who are targets by Iran. Peace by strength. Many leaders have said this was long overdue.

The entire point of “peace by strength” is that a country is so strong militarily that other countries are deterred from attacking them. Attacking and bombing another country isn’t “peace” by any sense of the word. That’s what war is.

War to avoid being nuked.
I’m not commander in chief but he’s clearly dealing with a regime who wants to destroy countries. Iran has killed over 50,000 of its own protesters.
Been a pretty bad situation since 1979, which I well remember. Cost Jimmy Carter a 2nd term.

That may have been a factor, but I think the biggest reason for Carter's defeat is summarized in Reagan's closing statement in the final debate: "Are you better off than you were four years ago?"

Which is it, regime change or weapons of mass destruction? If regime change, it looks like the same sort of people but younger and more determined. If it is about nuclear weapons, we were told by the administration very clearly the entire nuclear program was eliminated by operation hammer last year. One way or another this looks like a pack of lies to me.

Lies, grandiosity, imperialiam, and in Hegseth's case, Christian nationalism.

Experts vastly disagree- heard many of those who have inside intelligence and close to the situation and whose area of expertise strongly agree with what our Commander in Chief & his advisors are doing. No way would I expect Mennonites to agree especially if they are not watching the interviews and just assuming Trump & Hegseth are alone in their decisions & perspectives.

He was seen as a weak president and the American hostages were not getting help. That was a big factor “to me” as I was young voter but it was pretty unanimous Carter failed the hostages in Iran. Those kind of countries take advantage of weak rulers as we see.
